Hi!

Please allow me to introduce a project I've been working on – a backtesting/simulation web app to play with cryptocurrencies investing. I call it Coin Venture Clubhttps://coinventure.club.

What you can see on https://coinventure.club is a very minimalistic alpha version. My intention was to publish something as soon as possible and to start collecting feedback so that I can base the development on what the community actually needs. Of course I have plans and ideas on what to do next too (see below).

Currently it only supports a simple date-triggered buying and selling but with almost all the altcoins.

  • I plan on adding more triggers and a support for multiple strategies. It will be possible to test a complex portfolio.
  • I plan on adding support for weighted indexes with (auto) balancing. The website might grow into a crypto indexes publisher. The index weights don't have to rely only on market cap. We might build indexes based on other metrics such as technical innovation score, rumors about a serious attention or whatever else we might come up with that would have a real predictive value.
  • I plan on making a powerful UI with zoom on data, inline editing, graphs, visualizations etc.
  • AND I plan on using advanced statistics and machine learning methods to "speculate" predictions based on complex market data evaluation.

If you have any other suggestions or find bugs, you can post them here or use the contact form on https://coinventure.club.

There probably will be a "club members" area with the most advanced stuff and investing automation.

I'd be very grateful for any donations to support and speed up the development. If you wish to support the project, you can find coin addresses on the website too.

If you plan on donating, please pm me your email and sender address so that in future I can send you an early invite to the membership area.

Please feel free to test, send feedback and share the service and your ventures. Thanks!

Cheers!
Andy

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Thank you for sharing, I've been sending example portfolios to my cryptocurrency-not-interested friends for the whole day, they must really love me by now.  Cheesy

I'm aware that there are many features in the line, but I'd really like to see an option to enter different buy/sell date for the cryptocurrencies.

Great  Grin Wink

Thanks for your feedback! I am working on adding multiple strategies (not just one buy & sell) so that would effectively solve what you are describing because every strategy has its own parameters including the buy amounts.

Great to see proof of work! How are you going to develop this project? Do you think of conducting ICO?

ICO is an option I am considering. First, I want to push it a bit forwards myself and see if people are interested. In case of a full blown platform for backtesting, with an updated list of "virtual coins" or indexes, predictions, analysis etc. the value is obvious.
