I did not understand it much. Can some1 please answer me few questions.

1. What If I save NXT's on my NXT online wallet (wallet.mynxt.info), will it be good enough to grab the new Ignis coin?

2. When is the expected time to get the free coins in our online wallets?

3. What If I purchase NXT coin today and send it to my online wallet, will I get the new Ignis coin or not?

Last I checked you have to hold NXT in your wallet to get the swap coins, not on bittrex. I don't think the snapshot has been taken yet, the snapshot that will give you a 1 to 1 copy of Ignis for your Nxt will happen around 2 weeks after Q4. Or 2 weeks after Oct 14th. But right now is the JLRDA ICO on the NXT blockchain. You have to use NCXT to buy jelurida. They couldn't have made it more confusing.

@Fantum is almost right, only that at the time of the snapshot after the ICO, you will get 0,5 Ignis per 1 NXT. The exact date, as far as I know, was still not communicated. I expect it in November.

With respect to your questions:
1. What If I save NXT's on my NXT online wallet (wallet.mynxt.info), will it be good enough to grab the new Ignis coin?

Yes, the web wallet according to what Jelurida members said was supported for the snapshot, because you own your private key. It's less secure than a secured home PC wallet, but you should know that already.

3. What If I purchase NXT coin today and send it to my online wallet, will I get the new Ignis coin or not?

Yes, you will. You can even wait until a couple of hours before the snapshot. Only you should make sure your transaction to your wallet (online or desktop) is recorded in a block, so to make sure you shouldn't wait too long until you buy. It is possible that there will be many "last minute Ignis hunters" and that the blocks before the snapshot will be pretty full.

NXT did a similar structure when they launched Ardor.

I doubt Ignis will be any different than both coins.

Yes the tech is good etc.... but nothing new, just new marketing to take more money off people

And word of advice, I did HODL NXT to receive Ardor last time, but the value of NXT was collapsing over this period, so it wasn't worth it

jdir, you are right ... but that was clear from the beginning, much before than the ARDR snapshot.

If you want to know what Nxt 2.0/Ardor really is and why it may be relevant in the cryptocurrency circus (and maybe a potential top 10 coin) you should read the NXT 2.0 Overview: https://nxt.org/nxt-2-0-overview/. This document is from early 2016.

The only remark is that Ignis didn't have a name back then. It had a preliminary name, I think it was "FNXT". And what I personally do not like about the whole Ardor system is the centralized development model with "commercial" child chains.
