Nicely done. There goes all the stuff I've been seeing telling me I need more than 4gb ram and a decent CPU for that many cards in a rig. Is it stable so far?

Your setup is very nice!
Have you overclocked? I saw the hashrate is not high, your P106 hash about 15-17Mh/s, while I overclocked it with 6 cards-rig, it's about 25.5 Mh/s.
I'm just curious about this, because I'm going to build a new rig with Asus B250 very soon.

Thanks!

Did you have any issue getting them recognized? By any chance did you try on Windows or went straight to Linux OS? Nice setup I'm about to build one soon.

Apparently to get all 19 cards working you need to add at least six P106 mining cards if running Linux. Otherwise you are limited to running 8+5 mixed AMD/Nvidia cards on Windows, or 13 of the same type of card on Linux.

BBT is also trying to work out the card limitations on this board.

Straight to Linux. No issues really getting them recognized. Runs too slow, upgrading to G4620 and 8gb ram soon. Stable enough, got it up to 540 Mh on ETH only. Can't mine any other coins as it crashes, assuming it has to do with CPU but it's stable now.

edit: F4620 and 6gb ram wtf?

Running all 19 cards? What cards did you use to get to 540?

Never understood these limitations of 13 all equals GPU. IMHO it should be written clearly on the box that you need to mix various GPUs, otherwise this mobo could cause a lot of headaches. (if you haven't spare ones you can have 19 GPU down at the same time)

What is the difference between 1st floor GPU temperatures and 2nd floor GPU temp? You directed airflow of 120mm fans bottom-up, thus lower GPUs heat up upper GPUs

This is excellent for a lot of cheap cards (1050it 1060) and a server power supply. Allows you to save on the process and other secondary components

Multiple GPUs in one motherboard. This is unreal. But this could save a lot of money and space for a mining facility. Great job at ASUS coming up with this product and innovation. I am just wondering how much will it cost.

If it would has M.2 slot for HardDrive and 16x PCI-e slot for GPU with at least 2-slots cooling system it would be the best of the best  Smiley. But as yet Asus engineers have a work to do something better

M.2 SATA might make some sense - if there was any space on the board to PUT it.

M.2 NVMe would eat 4 PCI-E lanes you really prefer to use for GPU slots, and is severe overkill for a mining rig.

I DO wish they had arranged the board so that the 16-bit slot doesn't BLOCK 3 of the 1x slots if you put a standard dual-width GPU IN the slot though.
On the other hand, it kinda makes PS management a bit easier to not have 7 GPUs AND the MB/RAM/CPU on one PS and only 6 on each of the others....

ASUS B250 Mining Expert is the motherboard model.

Mine cost me about $150 from Newegg last week.

No word on price?  Anyone thinking about it should keep in mind that there is at least the cost of the GPU’s and that is more than the average consumer can afford.  I would like a price for the motherboard when it is available, because this could be a nice way that a new miner gets started. Rather than buy a rig and trash it a month later for a brand new better rig, this could allow them to add cards over time.

Somebody tested this MB with window 10, and it could recognize 16 GPUs P106-100 and achieved very good hashrate at 25Mh/s.
