Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

The best bet is to tell them the truth. Explain to them everything as much as you can and with all proofs you may have. If trading Bitcoin is not allowed there, they will surely close your account, but at least you may have a chance to withdraw the funds before your account gets closed. Better than doing nothing or telling lies and get zero

The best thing to do is probably not reporting any sort of affiliation that you may have with a localbitcoins trader. Just say that you sold him some irl good or online good that was worth the amount that you were exchanging.

You could tell the truth, and it'll probably work as well. But the problem with that is they could cite their terms and conditions that essentially forbid trading of neteller funds for ecurrencies such as bitcoin, litecoin and dogecoin.

It's up to you, really. Whether you want to take the risk and stay truthful, or if you want to say that you sold something. Both has risks, and has its own merits.

Why wouldn't you just tell them what you know? I'm assuming it's honestly not that much and even if you think you know their name etc. It could have been made up.

Hi Lawrance. How did it things go with your neteller account? I am going through the same thing and wanted to know what worked for you. Did you tell them you sold bitcoin or that you sold a different product.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

I will suggest that make a new thread regarding your problem since this is a very old post and I'm sure that OP cannot answer your question. If you encountered the same with him, sold/bought bitcoin from fraud sellers/buyers then just tell them that you're not affiliated with him/her like what @Kyraishi said.
