That's pretty low to run a scam on the generosity of others. But then again, its probably pretty effective which is why we continue to see it done all the time (not just here but IRL).

After the donation closed posted, who ever kept continuing to call is a scam is stupid. Im busy collecting donations at my work, Uhaul. We have 2 trucks filled and working on the third as of today.
I was trying to do a good thing, but was not even asked questions or locations of the location where we collecting donations so it could be done in person. I thank the one person who appreciated the idea. I understand there are a lot of scammers but there are twice as many lazy fucks that only care about themselves,
After the first 2 replies, saying scam I knew it wasn't worth arguing to prove the realness of the donation, It goes to show you even poor people who have nothing, donating clothes and food they need to help others. While folks on here cant donate even $1 dollar of there bitcoins their computers generated.
I would like to see one of your Cyber, Internet Hero's make a Collection and Help folks out, But they haven't.
If interested in donating clothes or food, PM- to find drop off locations we have setup in my area.

Actually, if you really cared, then you would've posted a location where you were accepting donations, I'd honestly love for you to prove me wrong. The fact remains though that there are too many of these scams running every time a natural disaster occurs. I was just trying to alert anyone who viewed this that it was a possible scam. You still haven't given any tangible evidence to say otherwise, so don't accuse me of being an "Internet hero" or anything else. Next time, just give us something other than your word, because the fact is, it's really hard to trust someone's word on the internet. |

I'd like a link to that post if you could find it. I want to see how he did it, and who it was that gave him all this praise. So you're saying that charities steal money, but there's no chance at all that i3lome can take a cut, or all of it? Right... I'm not heartless, I just need more verification before I send my hard-earned money to a stranger with a new account on some random internet forum. It's not being heartless, it's being careful. There's a big difference, and you should learn it. If it turns out this is a legitimate offer to raise funds, then I'll send some BTC, but until I can be sure, my money's staying safely with me. |

Thank you AprilShowers, When I made the post I knew folks could think that it was a scam. I was honestly hoping to have folks ask question to find out the real information. Im not gonna blast my information publicly over the internet, especially where I work. If you live in my state or town I have no problem giving you that information but for the world to see, No. There are scammers out there and I don't need to be a victim while trying to help. Im not sure why Im still trying to get your acceptance of the situation, That's why after the first 2 post I made it clear not to donate. I figured bringing the collection too the internet would help these people out. I don't believe in Red Cross or any other Donation business's that's why the decision was made to collect food, clothing, money, toys and we will be driving to Oklahoma at the beginning of next week. To help people face to face, We want to make sure the people get what they need without having to qualify for it. If you lost everything, your welcome to get what you need. As for the debate weather its a scam, that's over I don't want or need your help. We are doing well from the donation site. Raze who are you anyway, I don't care to prove you wrong, Its already obvious that everything posted on the internet may not be real but nobody has made any effort to contact me personally about the situation. Thank you, I understand being careful about the whole situation, if you have the chance please donate some food or clothing to your Local donation site if you have one. I always make an effort in natural disasters, Made donations for Haiti Earth Quake, Japan, and Hurricane Sandy in the past, this was my first time trying to bring this to the internet. As you can tell it failed horribly, that's why Im still doing what worked the last time, Face to Face donations filling Uhaul trucks that my Manager got approval for. We were alotted 3 trucks if we could fill them and by Friday we should have them all filled and ready for delivery. |
