You can always swing by http://bitmunitions.com and see if we carry some good ammo at prices you are willing to pay! (Hint: We sell all products 15-20% BELOW USD market value. Great way to get extra value from those bitcoins you have.)

Also I agree the https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Trade might be the best resource for customers looking for merchants.

I placed an order at bitmunitions on 5/8 and am still waiting on an update. I was told it would be ready to ship on 5/10-11.  Havent received a tracking number or the order and havent gotten any response from multiple emails to try and get a status update.

I have had a great experience with bitcoinstore though, and plan to order from them again.

Do you really think this is the best place to complain about an order you made at some company who has nothing to do with the OP?  I'm curious.

The post was about places to spend bitcoins, i was just stating my experience so far with 2 of the places mentioned in the thread.

Sorry - I cant post in the other more relevant thread til i pay my newbie dues.  If you feel it is not relevant, i request they be removed.

There aren't as many as there could be, probably due to a lack of exposure.

Shameless plug:
feel free to encourage your favourite merchants to accept Bitcoin by using my site: http://www.takemybitcoins.com, just pop in there email address and it will automatically email them expressing your interest along with an introduction guide. Smiley

takemybitcoins.com: Spend a few seconds entering a merchants email address to encourage them to accept Bitcoin

Bitspend is anti-marijuana and refuses to support state legal dispensaries, do not support them if you believe in freedom.

Placed an order @ Bitmunitions.com for some Winchester M22 .22 Long Rifle 40-Grain 1000-Rounds.

I couldn't resist the prices I saw Shocked and not a bad selection either.

I really like the concept of purchasing ammo with bitcoins.

I hope this is a successful transaction, as I would like to purchase more ammo this way in the future.

Will update.

Cheers.

Order 8951369358366

0.7597 BTC paid on 5/24/13 @ 01:22:24 GMT  "6eab95e70899b01411497c8cf2f04e059cfc30020eb87bcf52523f4474e944ef"

2 x Winchester M22 .22 Long Rifle 40-Grain 1000-Rounds

Have emailed multiple times, on here, on site and on twitter no reply's.

Guess I wasted some BTC? O well not the 1st time lol.

I knew it was to good to be true, but I like to gamble. No one can get 2000rnds of 22lr right now (nationwide shortage) for that price.

This http://ammofast.com/products/cci-sv-22lr-22-lr-standard-velocity-lrn-500-rnd-brick is the cheapest price online right now.

Site up since Apr 22 NO SOLID PROOF anywhere of a successful order.

Anyway will someone BAN this guy, we don't need scum like this poisoning the bitcoin community.

Cheers.
