I think the drop in volumes is not only in icon, the volumes are falling in all coins in all markets. Perhaps this is due to the summer season and many people go on vacation, relax. And maybe it is connected with the centralized exchanges, where regulators are already looking for trading volume.  Now the reasons can be found several, but it is clear to all that the volume is really falling.

Yeah i understand the whole markets exchange volume is down but it doesnt explain why ICX never was even a top10 by volume for example when it opened on Bithumb. There just doesnt seem to be that much interest in this coin in Korea, or atleast not as much as us westerners seem to think.

I wonder why the exchange volumes for ICX are so low, even in Korean exchanges, if this is supposed to be "the one" Korean project.

It might because a lot of exchanges are now doing the ERC-20 token swap and have shut down trading on ICON.

it's really nice concept, and good project, i read the vision it's really interesting,  ICON Project is to introduce the new era of decentralization by redefining the meaning of communities and creating a new world by connecting such communities. Communities today are commonly defined by its social and political functions and limited to the economic boundaries set forth by world nations. Through ICON, communities can go beyond and be free from traditional economic system and promote frictionless value exchanges with other communities, eventually resulting in maximum total utility of society. ICON is not limited to the real world, but it directly connects and communicates with the crypto world creating the most robust network that can scale without limits.

Hi, I think you can't transfer
ERC-20 ICX into wallet created only performing upon mainnet token within
IcoNex beta wallet.
But you can create wallet using
Iconex beta for holding ERC-20 ICX tokens. Look at into below blog post published by ICO on their medium page regarding on using Iconex beta to participating swaps procedure!

Although it is hard to keep the positivity during these days, that is the only way to go. I got in lately into ICX and it is already 40% down from the prices I bought. I try to keep my eyes away from my portfolio. I only look at it when I receive a signal from delta, in order to see if there is a trading opportunity. This helps me avoiding depression.

The price on the other hand is still at good levels for buying. Good multiplier opportunities exist for the new buyers.
