Can any of you see the ETH balance on ICONex? I know they're there but I can't visualize them, is there any problem?
Glad its not just me then! I can see them on the eth block explorer too, but not in wallet. Found this in reddit forum - see the response by Speedtouch on how to make changes to the iconex config.js file show it shows in your wallet for the swap ;-) I did it and can see my balances and swap worked fine - HTH https://www.reddit.com/r/helloicon/comments/95rxyx/iconex_not_showing_my_balance_cant_access_my_icx/ |

Price is continuously falling and now almost on bottom, Great chance to buy for those that missed previous rally. ICX has great potential with strong team and good roadmap.
when is bottom is the question? Yeah, agree, now probably is the best time to accumulate ICX, lots of potential |

yes if you follow the script change in the reddit article. you need to add in additonal ERC-20 tokens to see them though via the icone add token function.

Adoption of the blockchain where companies actually use ICX for transactions or purchase information or data maybe it's all about usage of the token. Like i said similar to Ripple and XRP Ripple can partner with all the biggest banks in the world but if they use the ledger but not XRP then it doesn't benefit XRP holders same with ICON and besides i'm not even sure Samsung is even using ICON blockchain either way all it's good for is a marketing ploy.

Update directly from the Icon team regarding wallet issues as of 10:50 am Eastern Time, USA - 8/14/18: Background - ICON wallet uses MEW API for ETH/ERCs - MEW recently updated their API without announcement - ICON wallet was not able to load/show ETH/ERC balances Issue with the new MEW API - Changes in the new API limits the API request to about 5 times per second - Even with API update, there is a possibility where ICON wallet will not be able to load/show ETH/ERC balances when it requires more API call requests than the limit (e.g. when the user needs to load more than ~5 token balances / e.g. refreshed request) Actions taken - ICON developers updated to the new API and conducted a full QA test on the wallet - Now the swap is working without problem - However, MEW API is not an official API and ICON devs identified that its unstable. Now developers are working on a reliable solution that eliminates ICON wallet’s dependency to MEW API |

I wouldn't expect to be able to just stake small amounts of ICX, I would be that the staking will be like DPos where stakers are elected by votes...so small holders probably won't be able to stake. Unless someone can prove me wrong by posting a link? Looking at the chart depth there are ALOT of buyers (support) around 7900-8k sats, unless these are fake buy walls i would say we are close to the bottom for ICX, another thing is that the sell depth is extremely thin, price could easily shoot up to 8500-9k with a couple big buyers coming in. |

You're talking about a support and a resistance that do not really exist because: 1) can be bots or false walls 2) if bitcoin is -5% or -10% in 4 hours each support is crumbled in 30 minutes 3) Icon is so young that it really does not yet have real supports and real resistance For this reason it can break even 8000sat now and get in 2-3 to 5000sat, or if the market recovers, start again and exceed 10000sat or 15000sat in a week. However, Icon is a very good long-term project, and with such a low price it is better to accumulate and not watch for at least 12-24 months. |

Positive rebound into the green for icx. T/A looking like another upward rally short term. Releasing staking news right now could 2/3x this project in a number of weeks. I don't want just project listed on a platform just for ICO sake, we all see what happens to Ethereum, ICOs made Ethereum and are Killing the price now as we can all see and it is better to better manage the situation with ICON because it will be foolish to be doing thesame thing and expect different result |
