Hey guys,
what do you think about the ongoing ICO of UNIKRN?
It is Mark Cuban's company and actually not decentralized...and he told Bitcoin "a bubble" some weeks ago but obviously changed his mind...:-)
Anyway, they now want to raise $100 million.
Please share your opinions, I am really interested.
I don't understand why they need that much money as they raised already $10 million from outside investors and have a billionaire on board.
It seems to me they play the free PR they get from Cuban's involvement but I am really interested about other opinions...

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I've read on some site that their pre-sale registration was over (it will happen sometime in September). Might be a good purchase, need to find a link.

Pre-registration is over, they have so many investors and interested parties at this point that their pretty much set. Wonder what the ICO price is at.

I mean, I am asking myself why they need $100 million if they raised already $10 million and have a billionaire behind them...
and they are no peer to peer betting network, they are centralized.
It is so obvious to me that they just want to use the "hype" around ICOs and the free PR they get to collect money.
What do you think about it?

Typically, I wouldn't. But I tend not to believe anything those big guys say. Also, Mark Cuban's name is a brand! And we all know how brand names tend to sell |

Not only Mark Cuban is involved in this but also Ashton Kutcher. With those two names tagged to this coin, I am very sure it will sell pretty well and possibly this coin will get recognized by the masses just because of the who's who that invests in it.

Their cap is very huge and I don't like huge cap ICOs.

Invested because of the team and existing platform. Seems like they have a 15% betting reserve to stabilize price

Rather wait to buy it on an exchange since most coins dip below the ico price when they're listed, and not a big fan of how big the market cap is

I have to agree with some of the others above, when you have big names involved, like Mark Cuban, regardless of how good the coin actually is, they name alone will ramp up the price.
As long as you know this in advance you're good, just sell on the wave up. Gotta time it right though of course, that's the trick...

Crypto coins that are endorsed by celebs are not doing so great right now just cause they're hyped so much in the beginning.
So the ICO price is over inflated and it might be better waiting for the dump to invest in this.
Gaming coins are flooding the market and you have to find the best one. Theres too many.
