Hello! I am totally new to Bitcoin mining and totally new to Ubuntu. I am running Ubuntu 12.10 and would like to start mining in the BTC Guild. How and where can I start getting the software to do this?

Any suggestions on how to start going about this? Thank you!

CGMiner supports linux, check this https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer README
