There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Without a doubt bitcoin would be my favorite coin among all the rest, besides that this coin is the root to all crytocoins on why they are created but I believe this coin is the future. It will help those less fortunate ones for as long as they would also strive hard to know more about this coin and it may solve poverty in the future.

Long term I'm into all privacy coins. XMR, DASH, PIVX, ZEC are all good and I will be hodling them for a long time without giving a fuck about short term fluctuations in price. Those are all good, established coins that will not go away and will only keep growing. When they dip and people rage about it, I buy more. See you on the moon.

None of them is my favorite. I don't see Lisk. Lisk is the Best nowadays. Now it is in the second pump wave. And waiting for rebranding impatiently

this is a funny poll. You listed Doge but there is no choice for WAVES. Waves is the best opportunity to long term investments.
Also Ripple is another choice for me.

If I want to invest right now, I prefer to invest in major altcoins such as Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, Monero and Ripple. Now the bitcoin price is stable and I thing it will be stable for a while after that huge increase. But in two month or three, I will sell my altcoins to buy bitcoin before the split which will happen on November.

Pure investment/long term and not trading? Only Bitcoin Cash and maybe some Zcash/ZenCash.

Pay attention to Zencash. It is currently undervalued but has a huge potential. The value will double very soon so if you don't want to miss the train start to by now at Bittrex. Just take a look at their project. Great news are coming which will definitely boost Zencah

My favorite coin for investment ?
Coin at singular, only one ?
There is only BITCOIN, of course !

If coins was with plurial and I have to write 3 coins :
 1 - Bitcoin
2 - ZCoin (XZC, not ZEC : ZEC is a joke, XZC has MTP)
 3 - MNE (Minereum)

I think so far bitcoin is a favorite coin to be used as a future investment that certainly has a chance to continue to grow with the passage of time and the popularity of bitcoin that continues to increase at any time

There are a lot of great Altcoins to invest on, my friend!

since when is tether an investment? you'd be investing only in third party exchange risk (bitfinex). if you really wanted to invest in bitfinex, you should have done it during the BFX token days. Tongue but seriously, i'd be weary of holding tether in case something goes awry with bitfinex. maybe for holding short term through dumps or for transferring from exchange to exchange.

regarding the OP, i'm looking more and more into proof-of-stake coins, thinking of buying into a few and staking/holding for the long term. the only one on my radar so far is DMD (diamonds). any other recommendations here?
