I'm from Korea. Bitcoin has definitely gotten on the map lately, and a good amount of people at least know what it is know. Most people still don't know much Bitcoin, just that the price is rising and could be a good investment. Basically seen as more of a rising asset than anything else.

Bitcoins in Asia. especially my Indonesian nationality. Here, bitcoins are already known and used everywhere. Starting from a permanent employee to an entrepreneur. However, bitcoin has not been granted permission from the government as one of the technologies in online payments (official money).

How common is Bitcoin in Asia? Just want to know I find that bitcoin in Asia is also quite popular. Only a few countries have banned the use of bitcoin. Others are free to use and like my country, a neutral country. Here they do not accept bitcoin but they do not forbid you to use them. What a contradiction is not it!

Bitcoin was mainly popular in Asia only and the major Miners are from Asia - China so their is no other thought of Asia is the main hub of Bitcoin. Other country are now starting to recognize and accepting it.

If you consider China as part of Asia (which they are but I don't know why there're some crazy people that deny that), we don't even have to consider any other countries. More than 70% of the current BTC miners (not all in one source though) are all practically from China (and this is a very bad thing actually but nobody cares since BTC market price is at new record high ).

China is part of Asia no doubt about that. And yes, Asia is crazy about bitcoin because they found that its money if you know how to earn it. And we have to understand that there are a lot of third world country in Asia and bitcoin has provided them a source of income that's why its very popular there.

How common is Bitcoin in Asia? Just want to know ] bitcoin now in asia is now being popular accross sa nation and it is slowly be recognize in different countries now and few more years to come the restos and hotels and many markets will be soon accepting it so it will be good that asia is now currently aware in bitcoin and many people will now start using it. I knew it and I think the rest of the countries not only in Asia. Though I really don't know where is bitcoin originated from or who is the founder of it. Why is it a delicate thing to handle everyday and being skyrocketed price nowadays. I wonder if how will it change the lives of people in centuries if eve bitcoin would be accepted all over the countries. Maybe, it will go through a lot of hindrances specially from the hands of governments since corruption is rampant until now. How would it be secured 24 hours and the changes of the economy since it is a crypto currency. Will it be rewarding until years pass by or will it be neglected from government for they can't have a percentage of the income from bitcoin. That's a long process for the said continent the more in other countries

That's good to know and in what country do you live? Here in my country, though bitcoin is popular only few stores did accepted bitcoin for their business and you can count them with your fingers. But there are some many individuals here, miners, traders who are into bitcoin but the establishments aren't yet adopting bitcoin.

Well this is a positive side of it that business have started accepting bitcoin. But has your country legalized the bitcoin or what is the stand on it. There are many countries which are yet to clear their stand and due to which business are in dilemma whether to accept it or not as the future is uncertain.

In the Philippines, It is becoming more popular to the working class. I mentioned "working class", because its popular here as an extra income. I don't think it is popularly being use here as a mode of payment as of yet. Thank you.

I think Bitcoin seems to be the most influential and popular in Asia. Bitcoin is getting more and more valuable, its growth rate is also very good and based on transactions Bitcoin is growing quite strong in Asia. Especially in China, where there are many bitcoin mines, the number of transactions here a lot. The positive impact of Bitcoin users is also a factor, experts believe that the growing demand in Asia has recently boosted the growth of the Bitcoin e-money market. Apart from China, we can see that Bitcoin is also developing very strongly in Japan and Korea, of which, Korea is home to the largest electronic money exchanges in the world

Not really like no one cares, but China's cheap electricity and labor gives them so much comparative advantage and that is also the reason majority of mining hardware companies are also concentrated there. Until recent Chinese exchanges were trading the most volume every, but their meddlesome government unwittingly passed the baton to Japan and now also to South Korea.

Pretty much the same as everywhere else. This isn't some sort of thing this going to be more prevalent one major metropolitan area than another. Think it's pretty clear that Bitcoin has about a 5% touch on population of most metropolitan areas. Of course there's people that take the Bitcoin as some kind of religion and have to go out there and tell everybody about it but once you get rid of them everything will settle into a nice even balance.

How common is Bitcoin in Asia? Just want to know Bitcoin is only common to major countries that announced their acceptance of Bitcoin as a mode of payment just like Japan. However, on some countries, Bitcoin is not common at all. Just like here in the Philippines. Yes there are many people that are aware Bitcoin exist. But we cannot say that Bitcoin is common here. I can randomly ask a person if he/she knows about Bitcoin and I will bet that more than 90% of the person I asked will answer NO.
