I've messaged the mod mprep but he or she is offline at the moment.

The user 'daemmon' (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=242894) seems to have been hacked/ be a bot. Looks like usual activity up until 22/03/2014 and then nothing until 22/08/2017 when they have been spamming Kraken.io posts to keep them at the top. Current number of posts in the Kraken.io ANN or Bounty pages is 474 since 2:35AM on the 22nd. The users comments get deleted and reposted with 5 or 6 variations so it doesn't seem to obvious that it's spam.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

From the aforementioned ANN thread:

WARNING: I just deleted 100+ pages of identical spam posted by Durieel, daemmon and TRICHED (all of whom are banned, source: https://bitcointalk.org/modlog.php). While I am not going to claim these bots were acting on behalf of the OP (yet), I do have my suspicions (based on certain unverified information, though not directly related to this project or it's developer) and as such suggest potential investors to thoroughly research the situation before dropping a single dime.
