hello, i was wondring can you dual mine monero and another coin like decred?

Yes, you can, but it's not suggested to do it with the same GPU.  You can certainly run two miner apps on the same GPU, but the performance will tank on both because they are competing for the same resources on the GPU.

But... you can use your CPU to mine monero, and your GPU to mine decred.  If you have multiple GPUs, then you can dedicate one to monero and one to decred.

I tried with Decred and LBRY. Decred costs about 5% monero performance and yields about 1/20 of the regular Decred performance. LBRY cost ~16% of monero performance and also had no good results.

there are many different miner apps out that do exactly this for you! it is like merged mining but before you use the pool! do a small google search and it will fill your pages full!
