if company value is stored in USD - it value will fall when USD is falling.
if company value is stored in any other currency - it value will raise when USD is falling.

USD is falling because of some troubles with FED, Yellen etc. It is how I understand it, and it quite nice works with what I see on charts

This cannot be repeated enough, if your investments are giving you losses and the coins that you are holding have some future and are not shit coins then the best thing you can do is to hold, do not sell for a loss, at some point the price is going to recover you only need to wait.

Bitcoin is very high right now. You can't expect altcoin market will get recovered so fast because most of the volumes of traders are on bitcoin right. There's a rumor also Bitcoin will pump again soon and will break the $5000 margin. So, owning altcoin right now is pretty dangerous. Just put only small amount to avoid huge loss. Short trade is good though. If you can't help yourself from trading. Short trade is good but more risky.

That's a shame, I was wondering if the market worked like that but that's what I'm seeing and what a lot of people are saying...  Too bad, because if it comes down to BTC vs shitcoins, BTC is going to beat them like a mule.

So altcoins are a bad long term investment, it would seem.  Sometimes they spike but generally appreciation of BTC, which is inevitable like the rising of the sun, will constantly drive their values down, like inflation?

The market is just so stubborn sometimes. All they know is bitcoin (irony being, up until a few months ago, that was all I knew too  ). I wonder a lot if every coin in existence now were introduced into an alien society all at once, which coin would be top dog?

that's the reason why we need to study first before we enter the trade knowing the position and reading the chart though there's other things that's needed to consider just be patient and wait till all the correction was finish and see that it will bounce back, learn to invest with some thinking of long term goal.

Altcoins are not really falling. You bought already pumped coins in general. That's why you see loses. You should be very patient before buy and after buy as well.

This is because of bitcoin pump, but before bitcoin pump altcoins were in bubble, it was obvious and bitcoin had not risen at all compared to other altcoins.

I think there will come an altcoin season again. You have to wait... I know, waiting is the hardest part. Everything happens in waves. That`s the reason why alts were going down and will go up.

They are on massive correction. And i think this will take long to recover. That's normal though. Bitcoin is.so strong. We can't blame people switch to bitcoin since they can easily get some profits to it. I loss a lot on altcoins too. I don't see improvement of movement of the market right. So just use small percent of your portfolio on altcoin market. And don't lose your patience because this is the key to success. Waves is good to buy right now since there's many project are ongoing on waves platform. Stratis also a good buy. But takes long time to pump. Maybe weeks.
