Any "place" is a scam.  If you could make a profit off of mining with them, why wouldn't they just mine for themselves?

The only way to make coin with bitcoin mining is to join a mining pool.

You can check the cloud mining like https://www.genesis-mining.com Make sure to do your research before investing.

Forget about Genesis at least for now. It seems that they're skipping some payments. Check the following thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2139003.0

Genesis or any other cloud mining will never suits newbie who wish to start mining as their platform. This thread link or the above link he shared also will not help him much.
He need to learn about mining and how to put a set up in home first and has to buy a higher end miner, power supply rig and cords to get a profit every time.

For beginners I do not recommend the use of cloud mining. They are almost all crooks. Best to start with hashing on the GPU, and gradually increase the tempo. When you know all the details of this business you can make more expensive purchases of the equipment and to increase production.

I want to start bitcoin mining and need help from experienced miners.Which miner is most profitable now?? Where should I start?? Thanks in advance...

if you want to mine bitcoin, in my opinion the current popular is Antminer S9

Which miner is most profitable now?

for now, I think GPU mining is more profitable
to start you should do research on capital, electricity costs, mining results, etc.

first thing first and it should be consider as  we knew inside mining current electricity cost is the big factors then the rigs and the coins since bitcoin
difficulty is really affecting the earnings you should also invest with your knowledge so you can choose what is much better to mined with.

I agree with your opinion sir,

difficulty is affecting earnings, therefore knowledge and experience is needed to determine which is the best to be mined

I had a rig before with 4 1080ti, but now is not really profitabile, you should Invest in bitcoin or maybe just get a good sources where to get cheap GPU and sell them, anyway don't go on mining bitcoin, better head for altcoin on nicehash or another site, just be careful to don't get scam. You can make your own calculation on the price of gpu's and electricity. Anyway good Luck.  Grin

Its totally depends on your Budget
you can start with antminer s9 (the price of s9 is around 2700-3000 USD)
You can use youtube & Google to learn the use of instruments.

If you haven not Enough Budget then You can focus on Alternative Coins
For Alt coin mining you need to buy GPU, It is Also Profitable.

you can be find some opportunity like cloud mining and Usb mining  but that's not profitable, most of them are totally useless and profitless.

I myself need help from someone with experience in mining,i am confused where to start.
As a beginner, maybe i should learn a lot about mining, because i have not done it yet.
Little,i know that mining is processed using a graphics card (GPU) and the rest i do not understand.

Start with Bitcoin Mining 101
Bitcoin mining uses only ASIC-based miners. Rising difficulty made GPU's useless for mining BTC a few years ago.
GPU's are only usable for mining altcoins such as Eth.

Dear members.

I would like to share with you a very important information for the time. I have found an online-shop called selling Antminer Equipment and the best thing is that they are shipping same day. I have also contacted them over the phone and everything seems to be perfect. I just placed an order of 5 D3 with POWS with them and paid via BTC. For NON-EU countries they are offering a lower export invoice in order to have low taxes as well.

Webpage is https://antminer-see.com/
This US company based and registered as well in UK.
Same day shipping , SSL Certified and so on.

If your mining from home then unless you have very cheap/free electricity then its not really worth it mining bitcoin. Even if you have free electricity then your probably still more profitable mining an altcoin using gpus rather than asics. As far as im aware home mining for bitcoin isnt something that anyone would do unless they already have the hardware or mining on a large scale. Better still you might be better off just using the money you were going to invest into mining into bitcoin instead.

Maybe not the advice you would want but unfortunately that's the way it is now.

I agree. I think the difficulty in mining nowadays is higher than in the past years so you really need to think twice before investing in mining rigs. My friends and I had been thinking of building a rig two months ago but since we can't really afford a setup of atleast 6 GPUs we turned into buying and holding coins instead.

I'd say 2 Antminer S9 would be a good start if you can afford it. That should see you returning some profit if the electricity isn't too high at your country.

Of course I'd use cryptocompare or better coinwarz to check this.

P.S I said two because that's what I'd do. The difficulty went up and you want to make sure you mine more profit even if the difficulty gets up higher than it went up a few days ago.

In these days, mining bitcoin needs alot of money to invest to but appropriat matetial. Hashing rates are to high and it's too hard to mine BTC or other cryptocurrency unless you use hardwares with high performance witch are so expencive.
If you are willing to buy such hardware, you have to find the  best combination between price, hashrate and electricity needed to run your rigs.

Hi guys,

me and some colleagues thought of start mining...

The problem is to find information about how much money you can gain...

Lets think we will get 10 ANTMINER S9 which is making 14 TH/s... how much money can you make with that per day?

i just found a site coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency - if i type in 14 TH/s at the column "X11" the daily revenue is really high... is this correct?

Attached you will find a screenshot of it..

Thank you for your help!
