Author Topic: Damn MtGox! Grrrrr!  (Read 1021 times)

Hi All,

I sent MtGox a wire transfer from the UK (Natwest) on the 13th. I used the standard option (not fast tracked) and it should of arrived on the 17th judging by previous transaction times.

I have been emailing Mt Gox and have received the usual fantastic responses -

Fri 17th
"We will check and update you on the status of the transaction."

Sat 18th
"Sorry for the delay.The transaction is yet to reflect and is in middle of Banking procedure .We will continue to check and update you on the status."

Mon 20th
"Sorry for the delay.We will check with our developer and will keep you updated."
"We will keep you posted on this.We appreciate your patience."
 
Tue 21st
"Sorry for the delay.We request you to wait for the update."
"Sorry for the delay.Will update you once I receive an update from our developer on this."

Does everyone else get the same vague response? Is anyone else having issue with UK (or any other) transfers at the moment?

This was the same guy on their helpdesk who I had a painful experience with last Christmas. I'm seriously considering moving from these guys as this is ridiculous.

Lol thanks for that.

I don't mind waiting as long as they give me an idea of how long it may take. IE a turnaround time for the developers, an indication of how busy they are.

When this happened last time it took weeks to sort out and I was never told what the issue was.

Plus if anyone else was having the same issue then they may have been told a bit more by the a support member.

Gox isn't for the patient. 

Same thing for me last time I went to withdraw to OKPAY :  had errors, received vague replies to my email, had no idea whether it was going to be a day, week or month to complete the funds transfer.

But you can't argue with Gox. It's just best avoided if you looking for any sort reliable USD withdrawal time.

Lol, at least they tell you to wait.
I have received a more fantastic reply today, they are literally doing the opposite of what I want done:

I am sorry, but I regret my decision to withdraw the money. Could you
cancel my withdrawal if it is not already made. Sorry for the trouble,
thank you.

MtGox:
Thank you for the email. On checking I can see that the withdrawal is still being processed due to lack of funds on our Okpay account. We have already sent more funds to it and expecting the withdrawals to be processed soon. I will keep you updated.

I want my withdrawal CANCELED and they replied they are trying their best to hurry the withdrawal.
I feel I am trolled.

I requested a withdrawal in EUR to Irish bank, on the 23rd of May, and about one month later it is still not processed !!!
When I asked support they said that if I am not happy with the delay, I can cancel the request !!! WTF MtGox???

When I asked support they said that if I am not happy with the delay, I can cancel the request !!! WTF MtGox???

I am not working for mtgox, and I have absolutely no interest/link/whatsoever with them

I'm still waiting on wires as well, normally the international wire option for 2000 Yen is quick and easy, one day process.

This time I've been waiting since wednesday.
