Another contender here for the bitcoin press awards headline category.

I love reading the frustrated sceptics. The mental anguish is palpable. The narrative is all planned out in advance but none of the facts they dig up corroborate it. We're left with what colour pants they wore as an argument against the currency.

"Why won't it DIE? We said it was going to dammit!"

Hahaha, yes - as predicted, earlier pronouncements of Bitcoin "dying" will no doubt cause some rather acute embarrassment as the internet NEVER forgets.

They deserve every bit of it.

Meh, Wired predicted the death of Bitcoin (more like ANNOUNCED IT) back in 2011 and they haven't issued a retraction yet  Cheesy

You people didn't actually read the article, did you?

TheVerge features are usually pretty good and this one is no exception. The article is obviously targeted at readers who are thinking the question in the headline, not at people who are interested what is frustrating this particular writer at this particular moment.

The article does an excellent job of explaining in a clear and neutral fashion exactly what the community looks like and who's working on bitcoin. As an answer to "Why won't bitcoin die?"

Well done, I really enjoyed it.
