I did not find any info about it, I mean it's hard to find such a group.
nor is there any guarantee about our investment if we join.

Yes, there are a lot of groups doing private sales of great projects, where minimum contributions are in hundreds of ETH and the bonuses are really good. Sometimes it is required to be accredited investor for such deals, so regular people can only do that by pooling. Most of the time those tho, coins bought in private sale are locked for a few months at least, so you can't dump them on day one of exchange listing. But if the projects is solid, it is worth it.

All countries where ICOs are run should regulate against pre offerings and similar.  But as we just saw it just happened in USA that they decided that EH is not a security at all.  IT is just to big to fail. To many big names put money in and run projects on top of Etehreum.
