Now that Avalon is selling it's chips in bulk, in lots of ten thousand to distributors, is it realistic to believe that new miners could reach retail customers by late July as Avalon is predicting?

If so this extra estimated 84 TH/s, at around $2.8 million in chip value, could have an enormous impact on mining output and difficulty levels thereafter.

Given the delays and missed deadlines that have occurred with producers of mining equipment in the past, is a 10 week lead time from Avalon batch pre-orders to final customer  possible, or is this far too optimistic?

And by "missed deadlines that have occurred with producers of mining equipment in the past" you mean only scamming BFL, because the other producers of mining equipment didn't missed their deadlines or they missed only a bit Wink

ASICMiner has had a pretty good track record. Avalon 1 was early, but 2 and 3 were delayed, sometimes by a bit. BFL has had the worst record, by a long shot.
