DW’s Easy Escrow Service

Funds:

A new cold wallet will be generated on an offline computer. This address will be encrypted with my OTC public key (ID:463BEC07) and sent to the buyer and seller.

Funds are kept entirely in this cold address and will never be touched (especially not lent out!). Both parties will be able to verify the funds are present in the blockchain.

Dispute Resolution Policy:

My role is an escrow service and I will not engage a contract that does not fully cover all the appropriate "What Ifs" for a transaction. It is your responsibility to protect your interests and cover all possible points of dispute before commencing a trade.

In the event that a dispute arises between the buyer and seller, the onus of proof is on each party. The escrow will be released to whichever party presents the most convincing proof, along with a round-table discussion with both parties. This is where your due diligence comes into play.

Due Diligence:

The parties involved will create a contract laying out each person.s responsibilities and expected actions for all possible issues that could occur with their transaction. Escrow will not begin until both parties have agreed and signed the contract which is appropriate to the trade (via gpg signature).

Clients are expected to document their side of the transaction thoroughly (to the appropriate level of the transaction).

Buyers, please videotape/webcam the un-boxing/testing of the items.

Sellers, for shipping, require a signature, use insurance for complete item value, and create digital copies of all receipts. Attach tracking information and forward these documents to me at weaselescrow@gmail.com
