Is there anyone not a scammer out there in the BTC world?

Just one, perhaps?

I am finding out this is a viscous market place.

I'd like to know this! I've spend several hours trying to find something, even a way to buy with a credit card, nothing!

Well paypal easily reverses transactions while bitcoin is irreversible, that pretty much explains why nobody is taking the risk but on top of that it's illegal in paypal term of use...

Be carefull with local bitcoins, it's easy to pay cash and see the seller run with your money and you're left sobbing at your laptop in a cybercafe.

On ebay there are good number of transactions going well looking at some sellers feedback, can't see how much went wrong though.
