Bitconnect is so successful, they have over $700 million USD in marketcap.

I'm surprised no one is copying Bitconnect yet. It's too easy for some one to clone a proof of stake coin. Create their own exchange on their website that only they can control, sell their coin, and get people to lend that coin back to them. The bot they are using to automatically trade is called 'GunBOT'. What a genius idea from Bitconnect.

If someone were to copy Bitconnect's business strategy, they could easily rake in at least $400 million USD in marketcap in less than a year.

There are a lot of ponzi schemes out there, all banks run ponzi schemes including the UK's private bank Federal Reserve.
That's why Bitconnect cannot be shut down. Not to mention, people only lending them their own Bitconnect coin.

As long as people are not lending them the USD or the British Pound, it's not illegal for Bitconnect to operate their business scheme in the UK. You'll be surprised to find out that the UK is full of businesses operating ponzi schemes. That's because the central bank of the UK run on ponzi scheme. The central bank of the UK would be accused of being a hypocrite if they were to shut down the rest of other businesses that run ponzi schemes.

These are probably a few multi level marketing software developers those Bitconnect clones are using

If it is so easy, why don't you do it then? Grin

See, everything is a lot harder than it seems at first. There is a team of employees that must respond to customer support inquiries all day long. The website must be coded optimally and run smoothly this alone takes a long time and requires a professional programmer. Then you have cold storage and security, and the overall functionality of everything, organization, etc. It is A LOT of work, more than you think!

I figured it went up because noobs were confusing it with bitcoin cash during it's brief bull-run, which is using the same ticker symbol on some exchanges (BCC).

No you are wrong, bitcoins cash use symbol BCH right now, it is new update from all of ecosystem bitcoins cash, BCC symbol was not used for couples week ago. The people has known that new symbol of bitcoins cash was BCH and BCC is used by bitconnect. It is not about symbol why no one is copying bitconnect but to build the digital coins are not easy.

I don't really see any reason why anyone would clone another model, if that should happen then there is no innovation behind such project which is not what we are looking for and I am sure the moment the announcement thread is done, there will be flood of scam accusations and counter accusations that would shoot down the business to even stand not to talk of running the project in the first place.

In fact, all of the coins you see in the coin market cap are clone of other coins. Even good coins are somehow clone of other coins but they have innovations as well, can't be seen as pure clone.

Here you go . . .
I spoke too soon, just found a coin that just clone Bitconnect.
It's called RegalCoin

It works similar to Bitconnect, some people on the net already calling it Bitconnect 2.0

And of course everyone should use your referral link to join...  Roll Eyes

On a side note, BCC going from $0.15 to $140 since January, looks crazy. Hard to believe people still buy into it.

Yeah it's like, everybody knows it's just a scam, but everybody wants to be greedy and ignore the red flags, only concentrate on the $$$$ I suppose.

Is bitconnect legit? I heard that control finance was a project similar to Bitconnect and they just halted their site one day and supposedly scammed everyone. I don't know if these kind of projects are useful to the community.

Yea you right, Bitconnect are one of biggest (PONZI / Scheme piramida) system. But I means not really, if this project able to make a trust for whole community. Just waiting for drama end with a scenario (Hacked or nah)

The community of Bitconect in their majority is from people that work just as affilites to earn some money or investing litle capital. Indifferent of scenarios, I think drama will be real big for those which invest more money firstly.

Firstcoin is a very good coin.
It will be 200 U$ next year.
You can register only affiliate link -> https://firstcoin.club/affiliate/56782
It's good to buy now firstcoin(FRST) at livecoin.net or yobit.net
The better the sooner.

Firstcoin is an interesting coin litle different as Bitconnect in some terms but have in common affiliate program community wich generate more value for coin. Their community are a club members that hold different packages of coins and receive rewards and share coin benefits like profits upon ATM machines. Firstcoin devs contract this month their 2 ATMs. If you want more info about club members just PM.

What's surprising about Bitconnect is most of the volume only coming from its own exchange, while currently maintaining top 15 position in market capitalization. If this is a good coin without hidden agenda, I wonder why major exchanges are not considering BCC listing on their platform.

Very good catch. I was also already thinking about this. The question for me is actually, whould there be a difference and a move of activity if other exchanges than nova would list it. I truely believe for e.g. DO it will. The other thought so, if they keep it in their exchange, they probably earn a lot more with the transactions so they are not really keen on to change this situation.
