Hi,

When I run cgminer -n I get ...

[2013-04-27 06:27:18] CL Platform 0 vendor: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
[2013-04-27 06:27:18] CL Platform 0 name: AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing
 [2013-04-27 06:27:18] CL Platform 0 version: OpenCL 1.1 AMD-APP-SDK-v2.5 (684.213)
[2013-04-27 06:27:18] Error -1: Getting Device IDs (num)
[2013-04-27 06:27:18] clDevicesNum returned error, no GPUs usable
 [2013-04-27 06:27:18] 0 GPU devices max detected

I have 2.5 SDK installed and I am trying to use an HD 5850 Radeon.

Any suggestion as to what the issue might be?

Thanks

*edit* I downloaded the 2011 drivers from http://www.oldapps.com/ati.php, (I took v11.10, maybe others will work).

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

When I marked it as solved I updated the original thread.

But basically, "I downloaded the 2011 drivers from http://www.oldapps.com/ati.php, (I took v11.10, maybe others will work)".
