"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

add --expiry 1 --queue 0 --scan-time 10 to your configs.  That alone should help quite a bit, after that, drop intensity.  I can mine I 19 on LTC, but with WDC, I must reduce to I 18 to bring the efficiency of the rig up.

Though reducing intensity lowers hash rate, combined with those config additions, you'll be making more coins than had you stayed with the higher intensity you can typically use on slower coins.

I have a nice amateur rig, too.  You summarized my post.  I'm now at 2.6% rejects and S/m has increased across all cards. WDC and DGC are the most wasteful coins I've come across in a while, but it can be mitigated.

I mine WDC across two pools right now with 2.6% rejects.
I will give the config values a try now! Thanks for the suggestion. I do loveeeee -I 20 though so it may be hard for me to change that Wink Cheesy

How long will payouts take on your pool Coinbrah?

EDIT: Those config values actually made my rejects rise! lol Cheesy

With all this hash getting slung into the pool, we should be breaking into the groove at some point soon.

Breaking into the payout groove?

As long as WDC stays on this rise, I will be hashing at your pool Smiley

Well, that's no good.  I have 8 Gigabyte 7950s pointed at WDC and monitor these things closely.  In my case, stales cut nearly in half from 4.6%.

Every rig is different I suppose.  I'll just remove that config help b/c there are apparently too many variables at play across everyone's configs.

Pretty exciting, I know!

Would anyone mind telling me how the hash rate on your miners compare to the pool?

Thanks!

Looks consistent over here. What does Estimated Per Payout mean? I thought it was a collective of unconfirmed total payout. If not, can you add an unconfirmed payout link/stat?

That's what I'm seeing as well. I'll continue toying with the calculation.

Understandable. It's tough to compete with pools that are large chunks of the network, but this pool will break in.

Thanks for understanding Smiley I'll watch for an increase of miners and jump back when it has increased.

What's the name?

It will be http://coindog.net

I'll be restarting the server soon for some adjustments.
