I'll give your pool a try, when I get home from work. Adding more cards today, so I should probably switch to a smaller pool anyways, for the good of the network.

I get around 1-2% stales on your pool in comparison to p2pool 30-40% stales. It took over 16 hours to find a block since there's only two people mining, it would be nice to see more miners. The block that has just been found is confirmed but my account balance is still 0 is everything working ok with the payouts?
edit: Just received the payment Smiley
c'mon ppl join this pool we need more hashes and there's almost no stales Smiley

Thanks for sticking around! I'm glad my stale rates a competitively strong. Amazon's network is pretty fast, so I'm pretty sure that is the reason.

Though only have a fraction of 1% of the total network hash rate kinda ruins the advantage.

Join up folks!

Also: I'm still tweaking the hashrate calculation. You can pretty much disregard it.

Awesome!

The hash rate should be correct now.

Bump for more miners!

Free bump, just to update you so you know you need to update your original post because of the bb code in it:

Address: stratum+tcp://coindog.net/b]

should read

Address: stratum+tcp://coindog.net/

Also, you're 'getting started' page should be updated so it's got those details too. In any event, I'm jumping in because I suspect my last pool wasn't reporting all the blocks. I have no proof, so I'll leave it out of the thread...

with cgminer im using "-Q 0 -s 1 --expiry 10 -I 19 --no-submit-stale", averaging 30 shares a minute per stock 7950. Its the most optimal that I have found on my own for this pool but if anyone knows more efficient settings i would gladly try them for the good of the pool.

the block i solved i had an estimate of like 13 wdc, i did over 50% of the shares, and was the top contributor for the round. but ended up with under 2 wdc. Did something go wrong or am I misunderstanding this. - to clarify i'm only asking about the situation, not complaining if thats how I came accross.
