There are some altcoins that exchange on Bitfinex. They are Ethereum and Litecoin. Ethereum gets into the 7 figure go, which means they get over $1 million in exchanging volume every day. Litecoin just pulls thousands to several thousands every day as a rule. Altogether, Bitfinex gets in the scope of 10's of a huge number of dollars of volume consistently.

i only ever used Poloniex, Bittrex, Cryptopia, Liqui.io, Coinexchange.io, and C-Cex. All of them are trustable for exchange sites. I was used Yobit too, but after i've heard so many people have problem on there, i never use yobit again.

Hey you can exchange your altcoin on cryptopia. It is the best exchanger for me. I use also another exchanger which are more trusted,secure and well planned. Bittrex,yobit are on my favorite list. Always go for reputable sites like bittrex and poloniex but there are some exchanges which is good and not too populated like on c-cex,liqui,etherdelta which i do make trades for sometimes because when i trade on poloniex i feel the delay regarding on making transfers which i do decide to try out another exchange.

polo and trex is a most use in my part though I also working with cryptopia and ccex but the first two that I mentioned are the one that I keep coming back for my big capital investment since trex and polo have good volume and may traders heavy players which can move coin in a seconds its nice to keep an eye and take your arbitrage opportunity between this exchange.

So if you want to choose the exchanger then look for the coins first which you want to exchange, are available or not. To answer the question, I actully tried all the exchange platforms. Bitrex, liqui, hitbtc are trusted ones without deposit/withdraw problems. Etherdelta is also working smoothly but the volume is low. I tried Cryptopia, it's also good without problem, but volume is still low in there too.

I've a lot of experience with liqui exchange site and it seems all of my transaction run smoothly. I never get a problem to trade in there, but binance as good as the second option for the pump prediction. I think you must try to use liqui it is really good as my secondary exchange site. I mean the bittrex subtitution.

Currently there are so many exchanges in the bitcoin world. one that I often use is bittrex, in addition I also use kraken. Bittrex being one of the largest exchange available today, bittrex also has a great degree of credibility. if it is concluded maybe everyone who uses bitcoin must have an account in exchange bittrex.

I am also using Polo and I have some of my coins in there. I are frequently traget by DDOS and logging in them was very slow. Also I am using Bittrex and Liqui and sometimes kraken but its quite expensive there.I used many coins depending on the coin where it is being traded.

I use poloniex, they have good site and many coins with high trading volume. But I wish to buy some IOTA coins, I'm thinking about it for some time already, and looks like I will need to register at bitfinex cause they have that coin, and it can be bought only there.
Couple exchange sites are very good, little difference is in the coins they have, nobody stops you from creating accounts on more then one exchange site, check them a little and use the one that suits you the most. I have just account at poloniex, but I'm seriously thinking to open accounts in other exchanges cause poloniex don't have all the interesting coins for me. I have been using the main exchanges: Bittrex, Poloneix, Kraken like everyone else  here, but yesterday I decided to give a try to EtherDelta which is a decentralized Ethereum token exchange. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. No need to deal with registration and all the other aspects of centralized exchanges; you import your ether address from which you transfer the ETH/Token to Ether Delta (in my case) only for the particular trade. Liquidity was not so great but it got the job done for better price than Polo. I will definitely use it again.  No need to deal with the usual issues/risks, I am aware the decentralized exchanges have their own shortcomings but in my opinion it is definitely worth it for new Tokens which may not be traded/listed on reputable exchanges. I am not associated with Ether Delta.

I do not really like c-cex first because their site very often do maintenance. Very often I fail to access c-cex because their site is very often down. I don't know the reason what makes the site very often down but it is really very disturbing trading activity. I prefer to use poloniex. There are many traders on there so make the volume on the market in poloniex very large then your order will quickly fill

I think this is a better rule for better security. To at least to have a record on who is transacting such big money and to not let just anyone enter the site with different agenda. Your choice is very precise and correct, that most traders prefer cryptocurrency to use poloniex because of the many crptocurrency that give the advantage to traders. Where is the cryptocurrency located in the poloniex is very professional (team) and they have a level of technology that best of the large number of existing cryptocurrency moment. But, the main problem we have to face is the analysis and also research. Because trading is not as easy as we would like to receive a lot of money.

If you don't trust Bittrex then you don't have options in this business. Poloniex is finished, Liqui is small. Bittrex is the only altcoin exchange site left. Etherdelta is ok but you can only trade Ethereum based tokens there.

I use Tradeqwik, Bittrex, OpenLedger...and only using SouthXchange because it's got Grantcoin.
I have an account with Poloniex too but only using that for Stellar (Lumens) otherwise I wouldn't use it anymore.

I have not exchanged Altcoins myself, but a friend I know uses Bittrex for altcoin exchange and from the forum too,  I have seen alot of people who say they use Bittrex too for altcoin exchange.

i use bittrex too and poloniex and i think that two sites is good even for newbie. I think if we have verified into highest level on that sites and we actified 2fa, our account is safe too from the attacker. This is not just for that two sites but for every sites that allow us to actified 2fa because it could prevent our account from being hacked.

So far, i am satisfied too like many member here which said bittrex and poloniex is good sites and both sites have many coins list.

For trading altcoin I always prefer Poloniex as the sites has a great features and it is also user friendly site which will make things easy for you and with 2FA feature it makes your coins stay safe on exchanges sites and won't be easy for hacker to steal your coins.
