Short versionStart a webpage, people solve CAPTCHAs, get paid in BC, this makes the employee-employer relationship extremely simple and the company is very simple to operate. People from rich countries will perform tasks cheaper than usual due to difficulty of obtaining first BC, people from poorer will work hard as usual.
Later advance to more sophisticated tasks; the simplicity in the payment system makes it attractive for people all over the world.
Long VersionI would say the main problem with Bitcoins is not that it isn't backed by anything or that it's future is uncertain or similar but instead:
No one get's paid in BC, no one pay taxes or buy food in BC. Time for change.
PART IAt first this idea smells a bit bad but I think it is good for the reasons mentioned above:
Spammers, hire people and pay them in BC.
I've seen that people pay/get paid to solve CAPTCHAS.
Set up a site were human users solve the CAPTCHA puzzles, for each block (lets say of 100) the user recieves some amount (suggestion 0.001 BC would give 0.01 BC ~ 0.17 USD per 1000 solved, I see firms selling this service for 2 USD per 1000 so you would have very nice margins)
The user logs in with her address (i.e. an unprotected login-system without a password, the only thing that is possible to do on the site is to solve CAPTCHAs) gets presented with a matrix of puzzles (possibly with possiblity to adjust size since we guess that users will sometimes be on poor computers) solves them, gets presented with a new one and gets the BC's released in increments of some fixed size.
Now you own a website that can solve any CAPTCHA puzzle (with protection against any more sophisticated methods developed in the future)
I can say that I would NOT solve 1000 puzzles for 0.17 USD but I would definitely do it for 0.01 BC if I didn't own any.

We now have a (hopefully large) group of people getting their main income from BC, a substantial part of them are located in poorer countries were lack of infrastructure (and perhaps also bank accounts) makes it impossible for them to get hired in a normal way but allows them to be paid in (semi) cash. This step requires that there exists local BC traders (i.e. people how buy BC, sell for USD and then pay people in local currency) which we expect to develop over time as they are needed (the locally wealthier people will set up CAPTCHA-farms).
One small step towards fighting world poverty and you get to be rich at the same time.
So what do you have to lose?
The original investment! This is why you after getting some investors do an IPO on a BC-exchange (only one I know of is GLBSE). The initial hard costs should be fairly low which answers the following question: Why don't I do it?
I do not have the knowledge, this is a project which is designed for someone who has experience or connections in this field. I would not hesitate to invest once it's time for IPO.
(The stock-part could of course be avoided if we have some BC capital-intense entrepreneur who decides to start this on his own.)
