digging through some of my coins and came across lealana coins that are from one of the fist few batches (either 2013 or 2014), with serial numbers in the 600-700 range. i ignored them for a long time when litecoin was worth little, but with the resurgence i imagine they now have at least some value, maybe ~0.05BTC?

I assume unloaded? I purchased 5 off Ebay early July, seller had 10 listed at 215.00 each or best offer. I picked up 5 at 205.00 each in fiat and was told that was a decent deal from someone else I have been buying Lealana coins from privately. Hope this helps. and LTC is looking very nice lately  Grin

if im correct, its series 2 from 2013

Ser 2, Funded, serialized "black label". Approx 3000+ minted. Ser 2 variants HAVE a printed serial number on the coin (at 12 o'clock position), and the color of the address in the firstbits window is still black. They were also limited to a few thousand pieces and have been sold out since December 13' /Jan 14' when Lealana stopped selling loaded coins due to government regulations.

That looks correct. I tried to post a picture from the dictionary but haven't figured that out yet LOL

This coin was the first released by Lealana, and is the most common due to its very high mintage.  Of these coins, the "first run" (N/S Black) type is generally the most desired by collectors.  The "first "run" coins actually have a cleaner appearance on the front, because the "pitted" coins have a visible circular "dent" across the "L," caused by the manufacturing process of creating the "pit" on the back.

Many Lealana coins including this have a fourth "sub-type" that is very rare, though its coins technically belong to the "Black" sub-type. These coins are marked "BUYER FRIENDLY" even though their first-bit text is Of all 1 LTC coins, about 40 have this abnormality which will henceforth be referred to as "Buyer Funded Black" or B/F Black for short.

I've seen that the prices on eBay are quite high.
I sold 2x 10 LTC coins for $300 a few months back and a roll of 20x 1 LTC coins for a little more.
Guess I should have waited  Grin

That's good going, sounds like eBay is ok for selling physical crypto?

Just don't like the chargeback feature...

My bad. I wasn't clear there. I personally didn't sell the coins on eBay but here on the forum. I have seen lots of coins going on eBay for a lot more. I'm hesitant to use it due to the fees and possibility of a chargeback as you mentioned.

For what it's worth, I sold a few of these at .025 each a few months ago when LTC was worth slightly less than it is now.  I suspect that you would be able to get .035 pretty easily, and maybe a bit more if you waited for the right buyer.

Also, whether or not the coin has a serial number may change the value.  There are 2000 coins without a serial (series 1) and 8000 with a newer hologram and serial.

Yeah same here.  Sold a bunch in that range awhile back i think you can get .035 for these easy now.  LTC is on a nice little pump which always helps too

Can you post a picture or two?
I don't think LTCs price is very sustainable right now. Would love to give this thing as a gift, though.
I'd take two for 0.03 each.

I think I have one or two of these as well, pictures would be helpful to ascertain value as others have stated.

I got one and can help you to recognize which one you got in your hands.

Anyway assuming that yours is unloaded, 0.05 at the current rate is about 225USD which seems to be too much.
I would value it at 150usd which is about 0.03 at the current rate.

Would you value it $150 + LTC? or incl. the LTC?
I also have still 2 here, would be interesting to know...
