Once you have retweeted, you can visit your tweets to show all your tweets and retweets. At the upper right of the post you retweeted, click the little arrow button and select 'copy share url' and voila. Note that this will give you the link still similar to that of the original tweet, but the last values are different. If you want to get a unique one with your profile name on the link, I will suggest you use mobile twitter application to get the link. (That is what I do anyway). Cheers!

i had that problem earlier but i found out the solution so here is what to do:
1: click on the tweet that you would like to retweet to highlight it on the screen
2: retweet
3: copy the link above in the url case
4: that's it that's the link you are looking for!

By mobile, I meant Twitter Mobile App. At least I use the Android twitter mobile application to generate my retweet links. For instance, this is a retweet link I just generated from my account @tosmartak

https://twitter.com/tosmartak/status/902606941305925632

This is totally not true. you cant generate retweet link

You can, if you know how to. I just gave an instance above.

Sorry I am just seeing this... I wish we can be notified if mentioned in a post.

Here is a link to a retweet of centra's post I made recently:
https://twitter.com/tosmartak/status/911852121842216960

And here is a link to my original tweet as well:
https://twitter.com/tosmartak/status/911859661283962882

And you can see, the retweet link still carries my username.

Done the same. The number on the little arrow button is that of the original twit, whether you use desktop or mobile application.

The only way you can have a retweet link is to also post a comment together with the retwitted link but it won't count on the number of retwits of the original poster

Just to ask also, when they ask you to retweet their link, do they want you to comment, or just retweet what there post.  I question if they even check.

It is simple : please reread this help:
https://help.twitter.com/en/using-twitter/how-to-retweet

You must only make retweet with _no comment_
and on your profile found you retweet .

Go to your Twitter profile and click on the tweet which you have retweeted. Once doing so, a link will appear in the URL bar which you can just copy. Each retweet has a different number at the end, and this differentiates your retweet from others. Just copy and paste for the bounty.

There is no 'copy share url' for me, just 'copy link to tweet". And the link is exactly the same as the original, even the last values. Does anyone know if sharing with a comment count as a retweet?

Just retweet and copy that link then replace their username with yours!  Wink

EXAMPLE

You retweet this link > twitter.com/ExampleAirdropPage/status/12345678910
than you just replace the username and add yours so its now like this > twitter.com/Yourname/status/12345678910

You fill this in the form > twitter.com/Yourname/status/12345678910

The "Copy Link to Tweet" button provides the exact same URL as the original tweet, so are we supposed to fill airdrop forms with this original URL which doesn't contain our username or are we supposed to comment while retweeting to generate our own tweet and use that? But a tweet with comment isn't shown as a retweet, it's shown as your own tweet. And how would putting the link to their original tweet prove that you retweeted it?

Even after two pages this still makes no damn sense. Can someone please plainly explain which link is supposed to be used on an airdrop form which asks for "Retweet link"?

Yes it is like that, I also often join bounty, and I often report my work including link retweets, but calm, it will remain safe, because bounty can also see from tweet data, and if indeed you have done retweets, then the bounty will know it.

If you replace original username with any random string in retweet link, and when paste this url in the browser and press go it is just go to original tweet and url will be changed like before!

Best way to generate a retweet link by replying to the retweet.

Once you have replied, click the downarrow located at right of the reply and select "copy link to tweet". You can now paste the link which will contain your twitter username in the url and as well as the retweet.
