 Grin

You know that PowerCoin is going places with this demand. Get some while it is cheap! A huge rollout of services will be announced in the coming days. PWC is going to SURGE upwards after these services are announced.

Am I missing something? The difficulty reported by the client (1.028) isn't the same as on coinchoose.com (0.087). If you use the client difficulty it's only 8.7% as profitable as coinchoose.com says, i.e. not very.

After this dumping its more likely to jump off the cliff. Similar to FTC, CNC and many others.

Maybe this brings an exception to the rule?

I'm posting this on every page so even the dumbest of dumb can see that lies are being spread in this topic about actual profitability.

  • CoinChoose bugs and uses difficulty 0.08708762 in their calculations.
  • Actual difficulty as shown in PWC Client: 1.02827
  • Mining is 1.02827 / 0.08708762 = 11.81 times more difficult than what Coinchoose currently shows

Using these numbers, the actual profitability can be calculated.

  • Coinchoose currently states PWC is 14.8 times more protitable (1480%) than BTC
  • Correction by factor 11.81 due to CoinChoose Difficulty Bug: 14.8/11.81 = 1.25
  • Actual profitability is 125%, NOT 1480%!

Last updated May 22, 11:25 AM UTC

I wil update this post and repost it on every page until the bug is fixed, in order to stop people from spreading lies about profitability :/

It looks like the dumpers has finished dumping pwc. There's barely any sell orders now or maybe there hoarding it for anticipated rise.

funny how a bug in coinchoose can temporarily divert a significant hash power from LTC ...

but this coin brings nothing to the table and has one of the worse advertiser encountered on this forum ... sorry NWO, but your are killing this coin

MrWizard, try to launch a miner on it and see for yourself  (if your are not an NWO alt, that is  ^^)

It actually looks like, a bunch of oxygen deprived retards, fell for a hiccup in Choosecoins functionality....PWC is worthless, and never going anywhere past Cryptsy.com Roll Eyes But hey, while you were all diverting your hashing power, to it, I had a pretty good night mining WDC, a coin with actual value...You guys actually fell for it, and allowed NWO to cash in on his premine. Pathetic

I believe coinchoose.com any day over you haters.

Lol do the fucking maths. Look at your client, it says "difficulty 1.02827"
Then look at Coinchoose, it says "Difficulty 0.08708762" <<-- This is obviously wrong.

Actual profitability is 0.08708762/1.02827 = 0.0847 the profitability of what Coinchoose now says. In other words, 11.8 times less profitable.

This gives profitability of 137% rather than 1623%

This has nothing to do with believe or disbelieve. Look at your miner. It says Difficulty 67.4K.... Which means PWC is at a Difficulty of 1.02 !!!!

The real difficulty is more than 10 times higher than it is stated at coinchoose.de

I don't mean to troll or anything, but I have a question.
Isn't cryptsy a non-working beta exchange that intends to launch one day soon?
Why would coinchoose.com tie an alt coins stats to an exchange that doesn't even make real trades, but test trades?
Or if they are indeed open, then why to an exchange that is 1 day old and has little volume?
Let me know, thanks. And I don't mean to try and knock you guys down.. in fact I would wish you luck.
Just seemed kinda inaccurately hyped to me, that's all.

It launched a couple days ago. It's the official Fail Coin exchange now.
