I am selling one of my favorite Morgans. The reason why is I visited another coin shop the other day and found a completely rainbow toned Morgan. I bought it in a second. I didn't notice the date until later. Same date, same mintmark. What are the chances of that, considering how long and all the places where they minted Morgans.
This one that I'm selling is beautiful. It is in "AU" (About Uncirculated) condition. The silver in the center has what seems like the original silver luster. There is a slowly-progressing toning around the rim of the coin on both sides. This kind of toning is sought after, as it signifies that as the oxidation progress continues, the tone will tend towards the center of the coin and could "rainbow" it.
I put this on here (and NOT BitMit) because I respect this coin lol. Its not a fake Morgan like I'm sure most on BitMit are. I am asking
, including shipping (in US only. will ship internationally-please PM). You can shop around, and you'll notice this price is certainly a fair one. I imagine it would sell for more on eBay (you should see what people on there pay for a toned Morgan). But if I were to buy it I'd keep it or give it as a gift.
Unfortunately this probably DOES need to be said but I promise this is a 100% real Morgan...putting my reputation at stake here, I would never be so stupid. If you are skeptical, bring it to your local coin store (BY GOD do not use silver testing solution on it).
Thanks!
