Im located in LA.  Yes the sun is shining and the weather is perfect as I type this.

I have been into crypto for a few months... had some wins and some losses.

Messing with Margin trading on polo was a bad idea Undecided

So, having been through the wash and paid my tuition or whatever they say, im looking forward to better trades.

Welcome! I'm a couple months into crypto and had my share of ups and downs.
I've heard about margin trading and been told to never do margin trading because you end up losing.
Happy trading!

Welcome to our Bitcointalk community. It is good decision to learn Trade. But for the first time, you have to learn from some article. You can get a lot of post on this forum about trading. You will get a clear idea from that article. Also, you can learn from a person who is a regular trader.

Hello Keith, LA sounds cool, Hollywood!

I am from Bangladesh, in a remote village. The weather here is fine, calm. Better than the city life.

Nobody around knows what I am doing inside my laptop Smiley

I wish I did some research before I began trading.  I got trapped by these pump and dump groups on Bittrex.... Angry

Hello and welcome. Always so lots of research and don't listen to just anyone. Spread your investments. You could also if you want invest some of what you have earned here at Yolodice. The return is pretty good. It's +-3-4% per month more or less on average.

Be very careful where you leave your coins as well. Make sure you have the private keys for your wallets. Stay away from HYIP and Ponzi. Usually they the ones that sound too good to be true.

Hello bro and welcome to the forum. For meetups you can read here, here and  here.

About trading, my advice is to pick several coins which you think have great potential in the long run and just wait until the price will grow. There are many other trading strategies out there anyway, just pick the one you prefer. I also suggest to watch youtube videos about trading. There are many channel related to crypto-trading, for example Vincent Briatore, Chris Dunn and Data Dash...

Welcome and hope you enjoy your stay here.

And yes, agree that margin trade on poloniex is extremely risky and not for the faint hearted.  Grin

Welcome! If you want to trade, do it with a small fraction of your stack. Wait until you are sure that you are doing it profitably (and that you have the liquidity you need to cash out of altcoins) before trying to increase your bets
