I'm a small time investor, that's why I only invest what I can afford to lose which is less than a thousand dollars. More than that is a big no-no for  me.

I completely understand.  My level of investment scales with risk / quality of project.  I like to invest in those with a strong team since execution trumps an idea.

It depends on how much money you have, many people said take participate in an ICO just like gambling. I invest what i can afford...But it seems it is a way to earn money.

It will depend on the ico, whether if its a promising one or not.
I read first the whitepaper and its roadmap to analyze and I also consult to my friends that are well experience than me then if their review is like mine then definitely invest some. I usually buy when pre ico sale.
