I have been into bitcoin usage before a short time. Also I was insisted to use Blockchain.info for all my transaction requirements. While searching for a mobile wallet I found it and started using it out of curiosity. Till date I've been waiting for the launch of new website as notified in the home page. Today with the help of my btc address searched the transactions and found that by 7th of ongoing month lots of fund has got withdrawn to a single account. Does this mean it's for maintenance or the authorities has scammed the users who have trusted and used their services.

I far as I can remember, they have also a signature campaign that here but unfortunately it has stopped already so I don't know what had happened to them. Seems to be trusted though at the beginning, but I have seen a lot of users complained about them in the last couple of months. And I think you are not the first one to be have issues with them. I hope you didn't lost huge amount of bitcoin mate.

I've lost around 0.13btc, all that I saved from faucets to campaign earnings were now in the hands of third party. As I have never used the bitcoin for anything good it makes me get frustrated. The beginning itself seems bad for me, I too have been waiting with hope regularly looking for updates.

They started a little well, their idea was good and I thought they needed time to make it good but seems they failed. Their template was bad, it didn't attract customers and was something like beginner does. Trusting them so much money was your fault because it was clear for everyone that their support was worst, they weren't active (as it was required) and everything was like created once and forgotten forever.

In addition to what btc_angela said you also want to check out this person's thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2086149.0

It seems like that the circumstances that you and he/she are in are remarkably similar. Their bitcoin address was essentially emptied of its contents as well. Now i don't use bit.ac but i've seen their advertisements on forum. I don't think that they let you access your own private keys so it could well be that they are simply rehashing their entire infrustructure.

There is another thread about bit.ac eth wallets beinc emptied as well(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1947457.0), i'm not sure what to think here. All i can say is, try message their support and forum rep about the issue. Hope for the best, expect the worst. If you get your money back, don't deposit it back into their wallet again. They are a shady company at best.

Yes, their signature campaign was paying good at that time and even ran by Yahoo, one of the most trusted and respected campaign manager here, although it would ran like a week, then it will be put on hold by yahoo then ran again. How do I know? Because I was eagerly want to get into that campaign, but unfortunately I was still low rank then. And the campaign just suddenly stopped. So I'm guessing they are really trusted until a lot of thread popping saying that they have lost their bitcoin in their wallet. I'm really sorry to hear your case, but the only thing you can do is contact their support.

I personally noticed my close friend who have 0.5 btc in his bit.ac wallet and that amount has been stolen. Still there is no proper reply support team of bit.ac
It always the it is under maintenance and work to resolve the issue. These kind of the scammy site should be praised.

Their whole system is quite opaque so we really don't know what's going on behind the scenes here.

Lots of complaints on their thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1451453.340. No response from the previously active forum account of bit.ac, which is not a good sign at all. If a company was legit then they would be responding to customer especially in times when they can't access their funds to reassure them.

The truth is that this was bound to happen if you kept giving other people control over your coins. I understand that it may seem like a tedious task to download a desktop client but it's worth it. Bit.ac gives you no control over your privkeys, and they can screw you over any time if they wanted to.

It could be just a scheduled maintenance to move coins around but chances are on the low side imo.
