But he's right that it would be hard to pay one off ever -- unless a lot of people give up mining, or the BTC goes to $60. And nobody buys a 58XX for gaming. It's a MINING card plain and simple. Forgive me for posting anything of value that wasn't mining related. The guy who sold his 6870 for $130 is a fool. He could have easily gotten $150+ on ebay.
