Hi everyone,

I plan to save something like 100 dollars per month in bitcoin and other cryptos

My big problem is how to save my portfolio "physically" for several years
I dont want to have it on an exchange platform ....

I can save it on a paper wallet but it seems to be impossible for new coins (wave...)

And will the paper wallet will still be useable in 5 or 10 years ?

You might want to use something like this? https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@mrilevi/the-top-5-best-altcoin-wallets-an-overview

These two are really good, https://jaxx.io/ (12 supported altcoins.) & https://coinomi.com/ (64 supported altcoins)

Also, probably, yes. if you write down the seed of every altcoin wallet you have, you should theoretically be fine, even if it's 20 years later.

if it has never tried at all because the fear even there are events that can make big losses later. better find another place to save it so as not to make the heart become disappointed until it really lost.

Hardware wallet is a good choice as well. I would only do a paper wallet if you really are not going to be touching it for several years. I use the Nano Ledger S and it is great. Secure and easy to access and check up on.

It's great that hardware wallets are adding more and more coins all the time. As long as you have your seed safe, you'll be fine even if the hardware wallet breaks. If no hardware wallet option, I use the good old fashioned "create wallet on an offline computer and store it on encrypted flash drives" -method

The best way to go is to be in control of your private key and invest in a good cold hardware wallet like the Trezor or the Ledger Nano S.

I wrote about this important topic on my crypto blog. I invite you to check this two link:

This topic is timely.  I'm using a trading bot on Bittrex and Poloniex and will soon want to pull profits out of the exchange.  I don't want a half-dozen desktop wallets to worry about so Coinomi might be the way to go.

I would recommend you also to use hardware wallet Trezor or Ledger Nano S which supports Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and altcoins.

I saw yesterday someone posting on Reddit that he lost more than 970 ETH and he was using jaxx, but I didn't check his story: https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/6wnhga/jaxx_mobile_hacked_973_eth_gone_ama/
