Guys beware of this guys pools, he takes no measures to protect his pools from high hashrates. If you support his pools you are just killing the currency you are mining.

His pools go by the name of: *currency*pool.com

For example the pool below is almost 50% and he has done nothing to stop it, if you enjoy killing the coins that you support, support this idiot.
http://www.worldcoinpool.com/

If the same level of carelessness goes on at his pools you can only imagine you will find the same crap at his Cryptsy exchange.

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

Pizza is 100% right. Vern's WDC pool is almost 50% and he doesn't give a fuck that it could split the blockchain. He has a responsibility to manage the hashrate but he is greedy and only cares about his own short term profits.

Don't mine at his pool if you want WDC to have a future. In these early days because WDC has only 15 seconds per block we need to be more careful until hashpower is better distributed. I am boycotting his exchange.

His pools are realy good they work great.
What he can do about price there would be someone else who will open the pool and the same thing will happen.

Happy wdc blockchain splitting. If this will not split now it will happen in the future. This alt coin is doomed to fail. Dont blame the pool. Blame the developer.

What you can wonder about. You really think that someone else could not open the pool in its place and the same thing happens?

I don't post much as this forum has better served me as a simple source of information. However, here's my 2 cents. As you are correct in your concern, seeing as how BV has responded to any issue brought to his attention both here on on the litebonk forums within an hour, I may suggest just bringing the issue to his attention directly. As you stated, Vern's pools usually have a fairly low but steady user base. As such I doubt this particular issue was on the forefront of his ToDo list. An any case, I have already notified him of a need to fix this issue. Smiley

No-one is saying close down Verns pool and open another one. We are saying he should limit new users joining so they are forced to use any other pool than his thus distributing the hash rate rather than having half the network hash in a single pool. It's quite simple.

it written in fairly big letters to control high hashing powers, and the pool was emailed. You don't need to have someone bring this your attention where you can see your pools hashing power and network power everyday.

It's also easy to up the fee to deter miners.

I think the argument is verns pools are so good that people use them.....This is bad because his pools can get over 51% and he doesn't limit them. So lets hear from the super smart folks? If a pool has 51% or more what can the pool owner do to the network what is the risk? Im not worried about Vern's integrity if that is why we are bewaring but a good discussion on the issue should be had.

with majority hashpower, the blockchain can be manipulated by that pool.
