I only gamble for fun, I like the adrenaline rush when I played the games, but if you gamble until you sacrifice your family and you put all of your fortune then it is not a good gambling behavior, it is almost point to addiction direction, if you can't control yourself then I won't suggest you to gamble at all, because it can lead you to something negative and it can lead to do criminal things

You are talking about seek addicted people. Their cases are well known, cause of it's terrible destiny and people love to pay attention on it. I also have such subjects in my family. But I think you forgot that gambling can take some simple form like gambling for fun or just points. I gamble with bitcoin and I don't count it as something serious, for me it's just a way to spend my free time and chill.

If one addicted then better avoid gambling completely and shouldn't try even for fun purposes because it may again slowly lead them to addict to these games. For those addicted gamblers should find other means to spend their free time like spending more time in outdoor activities and spending more time with friends and family members will help them a lot. Even for fun shouldn't gamble every day because that may slowly lead you to the addict on these games.

I also ask this on myself. Why do I gamble? I use to be addicted to gambling but now I can control myself, I do gamble once or twice a month. It took me years before I answered it. First, I started gambling in a young age and my sole purpose of this is only to earn money nothing more and nothing less. My younger years was blur, I'm rebellious and I think only for myself. There are instances in which I fought with my friends when he intended to stop from visiting a casino or to play in a poker game. But, as I grow I started to realize why am I gambling? Why am I doing this? So now as an occasional gambler, I can say that I gamble because I just want to have fun, to be entertained and to release my stress out. Money? It will come. Gambling is already part of my life, It's one way for me to relax.

This post is not intended to criticize gamblers, i am just curious what drives a gambler to really gamble even when the odds are against him or even reach the point where he'd rather lose everything he has than to stop doing his gambling addiction. I said the following because i have seen friends and some relatives on my mother's side literally lose everything they have like family, wealth etc. and only a few managed to stand up again. And some of that few still gamble to this day. And an uncle was found dead from a gunshot wound, whoever did it was unknown. But rumors say that it is one of all the guys he owed large money and never payed. While a friend(not close, just a neighbor) died from suicide because his wife left him along with his 14y.o daughter and 3y.o son. Now, I ask this because i dont get it. I just don't. I mean is it even worth it? If you ask me, i don't know. That is why i am asking. And the reason why i did it here is because we all know i can't ask a gambler with this kind of questions face to face because doing that would mean mean that I wanna start a fight. I mean that might how a gambler reacts to this kind of question. Please share your thoughts on this.

People like to challenge danger. Despite many bad examples of what might happen from gambling activity, they do not care as long as they have not experienced it themselves. Bad examples that occur because gambling has existed since time immemorial, but it does not dampen someone's intention to continue to gamble.

Yeah, usually gamblers tend to think they always control themselves whenever they gamble. But in the middle of the game for sure they will always forget what their game plan was before they started. I know this because this has happened to me countless of times. I planned that I will quit after I doubled my money, but I didn't. I ended up getting x4 of my money but ultimately lost all of it in the end.

Some do for fun, some for profit, and some for pass time. Though there are professional gamblers who make gamblling their profession. Some gamble because they couldnt stop it anymore. They are too addicted already to the point of selling their wives and house to support themselves in gambling.

Although I know my limits, it's really hard to stop when you're down. You can't stand the fact that you lose money, and you want to play more to get the money back.

I think it has a lot to do with the uncertainty of the outcome of the gamble. There always is a chance you win it back, so you're chasing your loss.

Yup every gambler main intention is to win big money and settle in their life without doing any work. One time jackpot will settle our lives so people are trying to win this and in this race, most of the people will fail to reach their target and get addicted to this gambling. Precisely, gambling should only use for fun not to gain profit because there's no way for you to win big in gambling. Perhaps, you will loss a higher amount of money than the amount of money you have won. I remembered the day that I used gambling to earn profit instead of winning I always ended up in loss then I realize that I shouldn't rely in gambling because gambling is not appropriate for earning.
