Why do you even gamble?

I do gamble every now and then myself, but I am for sure not addicted.

Although I know my limits, it's really hard to stop when you're down. You can't stand the fact that you lose money, and you want to play more to get the money back.

I think it has a lot to do with the uncertainty of the outcome of the gamble. There always is a chance you win it back, so you're chasing your loss.

I thoroughly agree with you, one should know their limits. If you gamble too many times, you will get addicted. It is like a virus which spreads in your body bit by bit, you need to put a cure to prevent it from growing. As for me, I gamble because it is fun. To elaborate, I always consider it fun to watch people's reactions; when they are stressed, when they are afraid of losing, when they messed it up and lose. Added to that, I want to win and get easy money.

While a friend(not close, just a neighbor) died from suicide because his wife left him along with his 14y.o daughter and 3y.o son. Now, I ask this because i dont get it. I just don't. I mean is it even worth it? If you ask me, i don't know. That is why i am asking. And the reason why i did it here is because we all know i can't ask a gambler with this kind of questions face to face because doing that would mean mean that I wanna start a fight. Most of the gamblers they do play for some other reason, some maybe they play for fun, for profit, others they play because of the stress, it could be gambling lessen their problems if they do gamble in the games. So in your statements because of gambling they've lost everything it is because of greediness, that's why it happened.

Simple. I want to have fun and in making fun of course I am being productive, I am earning while having fun. Gambling isn't bad because we all know that it is legal in some countries and it only became bad depends on the people who are using it and gambling is one of the major way of people to earn extra income.

Because I want to earn easy. Many people said to me that the easiest way of earning or having income is to play gambling but of course I red all about it here in forum and learned that we must be discipline in playing gambling because if we didn't we will be loss. I should say you can surely have fun while playing gambling and depending on what a person do if it is bad or not, and yes depending on a country if it's gonna be ban or not but I don't consider it as an extra income it is very risky to get your everyday income towards it and I consider gambling as a bonus money only because depending if you had won in every bet that is the only time you can surely get money, you should think about it as a game only and not as a source of your income so you can never have a bad feeling in losing with it.

Winning once and never returning is definitely the ideal case scenario but does everyone get away with this? I think not.
The fact that gambling sites are made to literally lure users into profit and then make them lose their entire balance is the main concept here. It's completely normal for this to happen but the ones that don't return to gamble after making a profit are the real winners.

In this case, if his wife left him because of gambling and he did suicide because of gambling, then gambling become a reason for his destroying life. But in real, your uncle is a weak men, he did a lot of mistakes and in the end he blame to gambling. But i am sorry to say and also i am sorry to hear that sad story. It give us lesson to make strong ourself as a gamble and also i know that and all the time of gambling i have control myself.

I gamble because I need to complete a full BTC number. Example: I have 589000 satoshis, then I want to reach 600000 satoshis to have a full number. I think most of them but I know there are people who are only gambling solely for fun, they are not affected even if they lose because they are on their limit. Most people who cannot afford to lose what they gamble will surely go for an easy money but that is only in their minds as when they do it in actual practice the result is not pleasant, meaning they lose more than they win which brings an overall deficit.
