Ethereum, where will you go?

As Ethereum is traded as the "second important currency" in the market
it comes to my mind to compare the pair BTC/ETH with Gold/Silver.
As the behavior seems to bee similar.
When one rises the other follows and vice versa.
So I want to open this thread to discuss the future of the "second currency" Ethereum.

When you post a possible goal for Ethereum in an estimated timeframe,
I am also interested for what reasons yout think of this goal.

In my opinion the rise of ETH is as unbelievable as it appears in BTC till the beginning of this year,
remembering April 2017 when ETH stood at about 50 $.
So its increase in value is much more impressive as that of BTC.

Keeping this development in mind a course of 600 to 800 $ seems to be a realistic reach even in this year.

In the long run, i see it at $3000

ETH is well positioned and differentiated amongst other crypto
It has a strong team, and ETH founder is very influential in community
once there is use case and more adoption of ETH, i believe its value will go out.

As bitcoin gains mass adoption and price starts to increase,
more people (who were previously unaware or skeptical) will want to invest in crypto.
ETH is well positioned to ride this wave

Bought more than 10 Ethereum when it was under $200 and now its near $400 so I have already doubled my fiat with ETH within just few months. I am expecting more than $500 per ETH when bitcoin will be over $5000.

Nice. Definitely I'm also expecting that ETH is really a good investment together with BTC and the potential for the price to go high is there. However, for me the growth has somewhat stunned in the last 3 months or so. I hope it will pick up later this month specially with bitcoin already increases at the end of the year.

The major reason for Ethereum growth is it being the king of ICO market (special thanks to Smart Contracts which made it possible). I have seen many notable persons from different fields showing interest in ICOs like psychiatrist, doctors, engineers, etc. These people are investing huge in cryptocurrencies from their savings becuase cryptocurrencies are most bullish market at present.
As ICOs accept Ethereum mainly, these people tend to buy eth first which has created invincible demand for eth. As the number of icos growing, prices of eth can go par $1000 too.

and it's only a matter of time before it's properly clamped down upon. there's enough rumblings flying around at the moment. If eth stakes its future on that, it might have a shaky one. they won't be allowed to raise ever rising sums with impunity.

I frankly don't find $3000 realistic, but $800 is also in my zone and I'll seek to get it about $500 or above this year. The demand from South Kore will determine whether or not ether will reach there. Korean market is huge for ethereum trades.

3000 dollar is realistic. There is no limit for the price in cryptocurrencies. I think we will see the Ethereum price at 3000 dollar or even more in future. But not now. It might happen when bitcoin price reaches 20000 dollar. But sure that, it will happen.

I think 600 to 800 dollars is possible to happen this year because ethereum continue to increase again. My speculation in ethereum is 1000 dollars before end of this year 2017. And I hope it will happen so we can make a lot of profit.  So if you have extra bitcoin knyour wallet its better to buy ethereum and possible your bitcoin becone double . But invest only you can afford to lose.

3000 dollar is realistic. There is no limit for the price in cryptocurrencies. I think we will see the Ethereum price at 3000 dollar or even more in future. But not now. It might happen when bitcoin price reaches 20000 dollar. But sure that, it will happen.

So, The question is when? That will be happening after the POS implemented and iceage update will give a possibility to the ethereum will decrease the dump on the market by the miners, That was an interesting update.
I think ethereum should be over $500 each in the future.

Ethereum is being used in almost, if not, all ICOs out there, I think "second currency" is a fitting title for it.
The support it's getting from users is helping its stable growth, though I still doubt $800 within this year,  $600 would be most probable.

DIH is a very good coin after bitcoin, I agree in long term ETH can reach 600 $ -800 $ even more than that, I also invest in ETH coin, in my mind ETH is a very profitable coin because ETH is not Will be removed on the market just like any other coin coin that has been eliminated in the market.

Well the question is also what might happen with ETH,
if there will appear stronger international regulations for ICOs.
In this scenario, the price might decrease if there won't be any real life applications for it,
that makes it a necessary good for exchange.
And this could also happen by next year as the SEC and other institutions are keenly seeking
for a way to regulate ICOs.

Eth is a really good coin I'm always gonna agree to that currently we do see because of the eth erc20 tokens raising funds for ico has been easier despite of raising millions and a potential threat of the price getting dumped eth as maintained it's resistance pretty easily.
The only issue with eth is the price remains constant for a long time and suddenly shoots by $300 or $400 because of this you might get impatient but i would say it worth waiting.

Ethereum is a really good coin. However, ERC20 has to have more technology than token transactions. Maybe now he's one of the best coins in terms of technology. However, according to the current position, this is not an adequate technology.

The thing I want to tell you is that the Ethereum team needs to do a lot more. This requires more work. It may take a short time now to look like the best 2nd coin. It may exceed the level of maybe 600 dollars, but the price may rise more rapidly in future coins.

Ethereum cannot be a silver if bitcoin is gold. They are very different coins, that it follow bitcoin doesn't mean it is silver, most coins do so. In my opinion litecoin is already silver.

$600 to $800 within the year is a humble prediction for Etherium's price. The end of 2017 is still 4 months to go and Etherium's price is already close to $400. That will be surpassed, I mean the $400 threshold, by September for sure. So there is still 3 months left, which is a long time for approximately a hundred dollars left before hitting the $600 figure.
