My first betting was when I was still young and my family went to a funfair in the summer. It was a fun bet because it's a game where you need to place your coin in a box where there is an item listed and you will win that item if you've placed your coin exactly in the box.

I think that don’t considered as a bet because it is a fun game. There is big difference between a fun game and a bet. In bet, you put your money or any valuable thing in the mid just to get the other’s one if you are good with the results.

The person on both ends are just making their money risky with special and contagious intensions to get others’ part too. While such funfairs are just a mode of enjoyment and earning money.

Even though that's just a fun game but he risked money to get the item. And I am sure there was a chance for him to get nothing from his action. Imo, such fun game is a gambling too.

If you have control over such situations, try to avoid those. Reason is, they aren’t making better impact on you. You become more lenient to such easy come easy go things. And sometimes people start losing their determination for hard work and adopt this kind of easy way of earning money. But in reality they even don’t know this is never a source of income, instead a hub of wastage.

A lot of people today especially those who are just starting life are busy playing the idea of getting rich quick in anyway in their head without having to work so hard for it and that is why they not only lose a lot of money, but they also end up wasting the time they could have used to do better things with their life. Gambling is just a game of luck, not a way to get rich but it is perturbing to see people who say they look for profit in it.

Interesting question here,I started gambling in my childhood days but not in a regular basis and dice games was the first gambling experience (I think).I am talking about when I am less than age of 10.But most of the time I ended up losing but I don't care about that lost money because I saw that on the view of fun only with friends.But most of the people says gambling is a sing and stupidity but you are the one stupid if you think like that.

Indeed, just like you I started to gamble when I was a kid along with my brother. No doubt that luck plays a key role in the winning of gambler as gambling is totally a luck dependent thing with a very little role of self confidence and experience. However, after luck I think experience comes on gambling because it is due to this experience that one knows how to tackle all the situations and which can cause a loss in gambling if the person is inexperienced.

I remember playing Penny blind Texas Hold'em It was so fun, I remember (One of my first encounters playing this younger) when I had .27 cents, I had 1 quarter and 2 pennies, when I bought in. we played and played and at the end of the night I cashed out with almost 15 dollars, Mind you It was a hell of a lot of pennies, But I was so happy, I was probably 12 to thirteen at the time, playing with my older Brother and his friends!!!

You are much involved in gambling than me, I only did in my childhood with my friends and class fellows and did not look back again. It is a mode of fun and entertainment for me and nothing more and I do not like to choose this way for earning money because this has a lot of risks and has less probability of winning or making money.

I look at it for fun and enjoyment and nothing more. It gives you instant profit which is the major advantage but you know of its losing probability as well.
