Hi all,

Do you have any experience with this card?
ZOTAC ZT-P10700G-10M GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 Mini PCIE

Is it worthwhile to take this card for mining or pay a little more for
PALIT NE51070S15P2-1041J GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 Super JetStream PCIE.

The price difference between these two cards is $ 100.

In my limited experience so far with the Zotac "mini" cards, they work well and stay reasonably cool as long as they have good access to air.

This applies to both their 1070 and 1080 varients.

Thanks,

Do you know how much ZOTAC uses electricity? For the same amount of money, I could buy four ZOTAC or three PALIT cards. The difference in price is visible.

Take ZOTAC, they are quite solid. Energy consumption is on pair with other 1070

I Just purchased a Zotac.  It will be arriving tomorrow.  I'll try to update you with the hashrate/memory type.  These are known to have samsung memory.

I would appreciate it. It would mean a lot to me to find out more about Zotac. I need to decide until Saturday which card to order.

I'd say they give great value for the money. I had a rig of 6 Zotac GTX 1060 mini cards. They had Samsung memory and mined at 25MH/s without any problems. I had the rig only for couple of months before selling it so I cannot talk about problems further down the road, though.

151 watt TDP - same as most other 1070 models that don't push the clock rates very very high by factory default.

1080 model is 180 watt TDP - same as other 1080 models in it's clock rate range.

Just installed the Zotac zt-p10700G-10M Geforce GTX 1070.

Stock hashrate on ETH out of the box is 26.3 mh/s

Memory type on it is Micron

I have it running on a test machine with (2) EVGA 1070 Superclocked GPUs.

With Precision Overclock I added +150 core 75% Power & +500 memory -- results in Eth 30.3 to 31.1 mh/s

Overall I'd say that the performance is exactly the same on ETH as the EVGA superclocked editions with the exception that it is running about 4-5c hotter.

I'll do an update once I test with the other coins.

thanks

Try NOT bumping the core up - 1070 on ETH doesn't need it, it needs the memory bump.

The cooling system on the Zotac isn't QUITE as good as on the EVGA SC models, but it's not bad for as much smaller a card as it is, and for machines in cases it does a much better job tossing a LOT of the hot airflow out the back instead of circulating it AROUND the case.

Zotac has been making solid cards. I have a mixed 1070 rig and the mini is my second best card only to the Zotac Amp. 55watts and 29 mh/s dual mining. I liked Zotac so much I got their 1060 6gb cards. Amazing. I should be a spokesperson for them but really, I'm just impressed with their cards.
