Ethereum Wallet - hung on creating contract

Updated Ethereum Wallet to v9.0

Attempted to create a wallet contract, accepted the required ether\gas price, entered my password and the amount was deducted from my balance and now it has hung for over 15 hours creating the wallet contract. It's also stopped processing transactions but my wallet is in sync. My last 2 transactions have 0 of 12 confirmations but checking the TXID from 15 hours ago has many block confirmations

Closing the wallet and reopened has not resolved the issue.

Can no one help? I tried to re-install the wallet without sucess. I cannot get the software to finish creating.

I've viewed a few logs and doesn't appear to show anything.

Sorry, little lost on what you mean by this one. you mean enter the wallet contract address and name it under the Contracts page?

Will this also fix the issue of the GUI not processing transactions? I bought some ICO's and the tokens have not appeared in my wallet either.
