A month ago we saw a lot of Bitcoiners vote a DropBox suggestion up very high in their Votebox. Let's do the same for Spotify. I personally love Spotify, and have already upvoted and commented on the request: http://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Ideas/Spotify-should-accept-bitcoin/idc-p/418712Help yourself and the community get access to all the music we want to hear :-) I definetely want to pay with Bitcoins. There is a pretty good chance we will get some feedback from Spotify quite early: They've done that with most suggestions. |

+1 Services like Netflix and Spotify could make so much money accepting Bitcoins. There is huge market of people that don't have credit cards. Students for example. Yet they are often the biggest user base of services like that. |

Bitpay makes it very simple to accept bitcoins and fronts the risk as they hold and covert to USD. Lower fees than a CC as well, seems like a no-brainer.

We got a reply from Spotify. Unfortunately, not a good one:
Status: Not right now
At the moment, we don't have plans to offer Bitcoin as a payment solution. However, speaking more generally, we know the recurring payment model is limiting to some users and we're currently investigating other options. We'll update everyone as soon as we have more information.
