I remember something along the lines of 14 activity points per 14 posts every two weeks. That is, the cap is 28 activity points per two weeks.

I think it would be 14 activities per 2 weeks but;
I made my 2nd account because my first one stayed 28 activities since last month with 60 posts so I decided to make a new one so that whatever happens it'll not break my heart which I speculate that some admins tagged it as something else that caused troubles. I don't know, just a thought.

I hope this doesn't happen to me! I need to get to member to make up for my months of lurking soon, do you have any idea what you did to get marked as such? I try not to spam and generally good helpful advice (I think).

Thank you for starting this thread. I am sure a lot of newbies on this forum would have similar questions around this and this is where they should come to to get answers. Info here would certainly help them understand how things work around Rank and Activity points.

Have a nice day.

Sometimes it takes a long time before your activity is updated. You just have to be patient, it will change eventually. Mine just got updated today, and I'm a Member now, which is nice. Good luck to you sir.

I read somewhere that it updates on Wednesdays, so that would make sense.

You can sell your account in this selection https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=73.0
But be careful because something instant is always at risk.

activity is how many times you post in two-week periods. and it connects to the post. for instance, if you only post 8 times in two weeks, the activity will increase to 8. and if you post again for 20 times, your activity will be 14. it is because activity is only increased 14 every two weeks.

just be an active member here and do a post more in quality. every 2 weeks our system in forum are updating our status, so if you able to be rank up, system may apply it on your account. every 2 weeks you will be added a 14 activity to fulfill your rank up soon, so be patience and note, even you tried to do some posts, even a hundreds of posts you did as well, your rank remains in what your rank is, if you are inactive and it cost of being delayed for your rank up. so i suggest to be active after the day that our system will updated.
