i am wondering if I can just send my btc from slush's pool to trade hill directly in order to avoid paying the 0.01btc transfer fee.
does anyone have any suggestion or comment on if this is possible?

i plan to set the payout to 1btc and have the wallet address sit to the trade hill address for depositing funds.

Please let me know what u guys think?

Thanks

to avoid fees , i use instawallet website. My bitcoins goes from mining pool to instawallet address, then from there to the exchange.

you could also try direct transfer, withdrawing from pool and providing your exchange address as the withdrawal address.

is it safe to use instawallet?
have anyone actually tried it?

and there is no fees for sending/receiving funds with instawallet?
what about transfering funds directly to tradehill?  is that possible? from slush's pool?

Well for me, yes i would say its safe, you could read the FAQ of the website. I mean don't put amounts like 100 bitcoins or something like that, I withdraw like 0.30 or 0.05 into instawallet address then send it to either my own client wallet or the exchange site.

Just keep your instawallet WEBSITE address to yourself. I can send you 0.01 btc to instawallet address of yours if you want to test it and see that there are no fees.

I believe you can enter the btc deposit address of tradehill into your pool withdrawal settings. I dont use tradehill.

ok i sent you 0.01 btc check your instawallet now

I had some bitcents in deepbit, withdrew it into my instawallet, no fees, it took 1 second to appear in my instawallet , i think it doesnt need confirmations, like when sending/receiving from client, and then quickly sent you 0.01, so not only is there no fees, but its fast. But if you send from instawallet to client address then it would need confirmations to show up on client.
