The more we hear about corporate and government crackdown for political reasons the more it is starting to feel like 1984

It's pretty crazy that people can be arrested for their thoughts or what they say. No one owns another person, their thoughts, ideas or beliefs. This is the sole reason why we have the right to bear arms written in the US constitution, to protect the free flow of ideas and speech. This is something we all have to be very careful about since 1984 is turning into an instruction guide for governments rather than a warning.

Yes, things are getting pretty ridiculous. I'm hoping people get their sh*t together and wake up. Corporations have WAY too much control over our communication systems. You see huge billion dollar corporations like COMCAST and Verizon basically having complete control over the internet as well as telecommunications. Hell, Comcast is now in the mobile carrier game. They are constantly attacking Net Neutrality. Listening in on your conversations and recording your text msg's for "advertising purposes"..... And your average person just waddles along like a cow as if nothing is wrong and all is well.

Being ruled by a corporation is better than being ruled by brainwashed fools.  :/

Hard to think which is worse, being ruled by corporations (like in America) or being ruled by people who don't know what they are doing (like Venezuela).

I don't think they follow that one any more. They realized they can get away with doing what they want to do, and won't lose much business so it is worth it to them to do this.

We may think, well that is dumb what about the profit and money? But for their leaders they are already very rich and probably care more about their own bias and  view of the world.
