Cases of phishing emails have been more frequent recently.
We would like to officially acknowledge our users that we never send any verification letters by email, please do not open files and do not follow links in those letters.

When will be the opening of trading?
If we do not encounter any bureaucratic issues, trading will be launched next week on a new platform.

How will my funds and profile be transferred to the new platform?
It will be done automatically; no additional actions from your side are required.

Will there be new passwords/2fa or all the security data will stay the same?
Everything will be transferred to a new platform.

Was my coin deposit credited to the account after 25.07?
All deposits up to the 1st of August included will be credited later (1-2 of September), it will be done automatically, no additional actions from your side are required. We will not be able to credit the deposits made after the 1st of August, as they are being controlled by the US.

My account was verified, will this verification be relevant?
The company that fulfilled the verification has abrogated a treaty unilaterally, that is why you will have to go through the verification again on a new platform.

I do not receive any emails?
Check the spam box, most likely our emails were filtered there.

When will you start paying out available funds?
This process can start in the next few days; we will let you know 1 day prior the launch.

The pool is asking for the private key to transfer ETH funds.
We can send you your private key if you create a ticket.

Will MT4 and PAMM be available in future?
Metatrader 4 White label and PAMM platforms were provided to us by Fxopen company. But after the charges were made by the US to our service they abrogated a treaty unilaterally.

Will there be access to trade without going through verification?
Yes there will be.

Will it be possible to verify several accounts that I had on the platform at once?
Yes it will be possible.

Are old coin deposit addresses still working?
Old addresses do not work now and all the coins sent to those addresses will not be deposited. New addresses will be generated for you on our new platform.

Will there be Bitcoin Betting on a new platform?
Yes, after we receive all necessary licenses.

You should submit a ticket if you encounter the following difficulties; Ticket system will be available from the next week.
Balance is displayed incorrectly
Funds from MT4 and PAMM were not deposited
The password is incorrect, you need to reset the 2fa, turn off white IPs list.
You did not receive funds that you requested for the withdrawal to the payment systems.
Your account has been blocked.

The launch of the service are dealt in to 3 stages.

Stage 1. The old company (with which you have signed an offer contract), will prepare and transfer to the new company all digital personal data of users, (in full compliance with the European directives on personal data and in compliance with European legislation in this field.)
This will be done until 15.09.2017

Stage 2. Licensed financial investment company, will do restructuring of the digital assets of the new company and registering digital data of users at home.

Stage 3. A licensed financial investment company will audit and register personal data in accordance with AML laws and KYC identification procedures.

In the future, both digital and monetary data will be operated by this financial company.

In the same time with the legal issue of restructuring, users will be given the opportunity to checkl balance in the user's account, and users will be able to make changes in the security of the account. For communication and support will be available chat.

For purposes above, service will be launched on the old domain: btc-e.nz. You will be able to log in and check your balance before recounting.
Term before recounting 02.09.2017

Since there is a risk of data leak and therfore third-party can access to the customers accounts it is highly recommended that you update the security and identification settings. (change password) Later there will be particular announcement of this matter.

The ticketing system (helpdesk) will be available after the start of the digital data transfer procedure. Helpdesk will be operated by the licensed financial company. Can be used in case you have difficulties with entering to the account or there are inaccuracies in the balance.

Update 6! 14.08.2017

We have read a feedback from the community, about our proposal, how to get out of the situation. We decided to revise this decision in favor of community opinions.

We believe that the following, is fair for both, holders of crypto-currency and holders of fiat funds:
For each currency, a recalculation will be made, for each individual account available assets.
At the moment 55% of funds are available, so 55% will be returned for all currencies, and 45% will be converted to a every currency in a tokens.
All tokens will be traded on an exchange basis.
You will be able to trade tokens at any price, but no more than their beginning value. From our side we pledge to buy every tokens from you, for it's beginning value.
You will be able to sell your tokens to other users or wait and when we buy them for it's beginning value.
(editor's note) beginning value: 1 btcT = 1 btc . 1usdT = 1 usd

An example: If you had 1 BTC on an exchange. You will receive 0.55 BTC and 0.45 btcT. 0.55 BTC you will be able to withdraw immediately. The remaining 0.45 BTCT you can either exchange for BTC at market price, or wait until we will bought it from you.

Update 5! IMPORTANT! 09.08.2017

How we see solving problems with arrested fiat funds:

1. In previos two weeks we were engaged in battle for your funds, we were able to gain control of about 55% of total funds (depends on the rate). Remaining 45% of funds continue to be arrested, the most part in fiat. We believe that arrested amount of means will decrease in course of time.

2. We see following steps to recover from the current situation:
2.1. We can't to continue operating under brand of the BTC-e exchange, due to unresolved issues from the Office of Financial Crimes of the US Treasury.
2.2. At the moment we are negotiating with a group of investors (an investment company). With includes, selling of the brand(piece or full unknown. editors note), prompt of service and repaying of the current customers debts.
Below are described in details , the process of repayment of customers debt.
2.3. The next step after we transfer all balance sheets and databases to the investment company, customer account balances will be recalculated.
2.4. This recalculation procedure will be based on available money with we got control over before:
2.4.1. All liabilities for fiat (USD, EUR, RUR) will be recalculated to the BTE tokens (1 BTE equals to 1 USD) at the exchange rate on the date of conversion.
Probably there will be announced ICO which also will be held in the BTE tokens. We believe that this will help to repurchase our liabilities in shorter period of time, liabilites with are reflected in a tokens.
2.4.2. Coins on the customers accounts will be reduced for 45% of the balance amount. And instead equal amount of tokens will be credited. The exchange rate for them will be same as on date exchange went shut down.
For example, if you had 10 BTC on your account on to moment of shut down. You will get 5.5 BTC and 4.5 btcT.
2.4.3. Those customers with has BTE on their balances. BTE will be debited for 45%. Insted you will get an equal ammount of cointokens, a pot if cointokens (this pot will consist of the following coins:  BTC, LTC, NMC, NVC, PPC, ETH, DSH).
2.4.4. After recalculations it will be possible to withdraw up to 55% of the funds of the customers.
2.5 The investment company operates in compliance with KYC, AML and has the licenses with are required for doing specific activity, in this regard, all users will have to undergo new levels of verification.
2.6. Tentative date of launch of the service is set to the end of August.

3. Total of customers debt are planned to be repaid back shortly. Strategy includes to earn from operating income, as well as getting back seized funds, in help of advocates.

The repay of the debt will be based on the principle of repurchase of BTE tokens from the market.

In the next update we will provide more details on the procedure for accessing information to your account balances and actual time when these funds will be available for withdrawal.

From the whole BTC-e team, we officially inform you, that all funds that were in the reserve (including whole our income) were used to pay damages, due to arrest of the funds and the service itself.

1. We were able to access our databases and crypto wallets, at the moment we are assessing data and balances on available amount of coins. This information will be made public by the end of next week.

2. We confirm that the main channel of fiat have been provided to us by Mayzus Financial Services Ltd , these funds are seized at the moment.

More detailed information about currently not available BTC-e exchange.

On July 25, FBI  seized all exchange equipment , servers and databases on them. (servers where Encrypted at the moment of seizing)

For period for almost 6 days we could not get any information from our hosting provider.  That's the reason why this update came so late.

On July 28, the domain was seized too.

On the current period of time date, part of the exchange funds are unable, are caused by FBI arrest.

There will be more information of possible options for service restore. This information will be published on the following updates. The next update also will include information of the procedure for obtaining funds. Especially in the case if happens that service will not recover.
In the current situation, we think, if the service is not recovered by end of August 2017, then on September 1 and following dates there will be actual the process of refund of the customers funds.

In the next one or two weeks we will evaluate how much money fell into the hands of the FBI ,that information will be published , then we will conclude what amount of funds is available for return.

For all those who buried us, we will remind you that the service has always been working on trust and we are ready to prove that.

The funds will be returned to every customer!

I believe they want to return 55% of fiat too, but it's will be converted either to crypto or USDTokens through witch you could buy any other currency at exchange. Or they will return 55% of USD balance and give 45% of usdTokens.
They had luck that BTC has grown twice since shutdown of the service. Probably that repayment idea of 55% is due to this.

I can just add that, names, photos and home addresses of btc-e bosses already are known and made public, unofficial.

Well the OKPAY accounts are a UK company, and nobody seized those, they were suspended, and it's pretty obvious that Russia wouldn't let the FBI operate on their turf it's would be an international incident. What's next, seize Snowden?

The information posted in this thread has been accurate.

I have found some posts from user threads that have misinformation, and probably some of the misinformation is being done against BTC-e and on purpose in order to attempt to sabotage BTC-e's attempt at re-opening and possibly also to attempt to steal some of BTC-e user funds (and even personal information)

My BTC-e account is suspended due to inactivity. As a result, I cannot log in to my account. The current website https://btc-e.nz/ does not have a contact link or support link if not logged in.
 Therefore I don't have an access to a ticket support to ask how to proceed to remove the suspension.

Ticketing system is not available currently. So I guess, you will be able to login after they make a new ticketing system, soon.
