Hi! I just want to ask if anyone here been scammed in bounty campaigns? Some who joined the bounty campaign, did abide with the rules and did all the necessary tasks to do to qualify then at the end no payment recieved in their wallet? If so what did you do and if in case it happens what should be done?
Its not actually not being payed but the previous bounty campaign which i do join have reduced up the bounty which makes all the bounty participants get mad on their decision on which i do really feel up that we are being scammed. This is my first time on experiencing would possibly able to recieve very small amount for a matter of 2 months work which isnt really worth it.

I think participants cant do anything about it so better work for the right Bounty project or ICOs. You should first check the reputation and ratings of such ICOs or you should check thier rating and the rating of their project to avoid such misfortune.

I was not yet deceived since I only recently started participating in campaigns, but all those in which I participated paid me. That's what I want to say. If you don't want to be deceived then more carefully choose the projects in which you intend to participate. Choose as if you are going to invest your money in this projects\people. In fact, you are investing something more valuable than money. Your time. And secondly, if you participate in everything in a row - you also support spammers. Don't do it please!

I admire your point of view but you really can't tell if the bounty campaign you joined is going to pay or not. I have not been scammed yet so far but there is this one bounty campaign that might be tagged as scam because the Campaign Manager is MIA and its almost a week since the last time he logged in. The campaign was great and the project was even close to reaching its hard cap. I did a thorough research on the project and I would in all fairness invest my own money if the project will be out in the market. But then again, it really depends also if the distribution team are willing to give out their reward or not.

Sometimes it takes a month or more than that before the devs pay the participants of their bounty after the ICO. Go back and check it again because I'm sure  that they had put it in their bounty details.

To bad for you mate since ETHBOOK dev is not showing up yet and how could he calculate the stakes for that if he's inactive to do his job and looks like the distribution of your bounty will take long since there absence is quitely long or maybe they escaped already since there's no track yet that there showing up there ass after they earned success for there ICO.

me, too. only the payments are delayed very long, but I'm sure they are not really a scam, maybe because there are obstacles that they can not publish, many projects are delayed, but in the end they pay, just try to be patient, while looking for some information. and if that happens do not happen again for the next, try reading the whitepaper and see if done by a solid team.

Of course you can't know for sure, but you can minimize your risks by applying the approach that I described in my previous comment and at the same time refusing to support scammers. I also leave the campaign bounty as soon as I see something suspicious with the project, which suggests that this is a scam.

Sometimes we have to accept the fact that certain things will never go back. In this case, the only thing i can do is accept the truth. Learn what happened and find better ICOs. Of course, luck is very important.

I bet there is. Well, when you get scammed there's nothing you can do about it. Why? Because once they collect money from you they will immediately disappear and i think there is no way you can do to find them again. That is why before joining a bounty/ sig camp you/ we have to be keen oriented, check all the necessary info regarding the campaign. Maybe that way you will prevent scammers.

True and I agree, that's why if I join certain bounty campaigns or signature campaigns I make sure these are not those cheap arse project and really really make sure they are not scam or if I have a hint that there is a sign for scam then I would most likely get out of the campaign as soon as possible.

The best move to ensure you got paid is choose an ICO that is manage by a trusted campaign manger like Sylon or irfan. They always make sure that the participants are paid after the bounty so if you see a newbie or jr member account manages a bounty then it's better to avoid it.

No. I really made a good decision joining bitcoin campaigns rather than bounty campaigns. They said that when you participated in an altcoin bounties, expect that there's a possibility that you will not get paid except if the funds are escrowed.

If bounties are not paid and participants can't do anything since they don't have the right, then I suggest Bitcointalk forum managers can make campaign managers deposits a refundable amount of money to be held as collateral for bounty participants.

I have not encountered scammers in the bounty, but if this happens, you can not do anything, you can not get your tokens, in such a situation you should make your situation as public as possible to draw attention to the problem

when choosing a bounty you need to be very careful and learn as much information about this project and about the organizers because in this business there are a lot of scammers I think that half of all projects are scammers, but if you are deceived then you can not do anything

Well good for you and someday you will encounter them off since there are so many greedy devs right now are splendid their greediness on this forum.

Actually its so hard to choose on which one pays or which one is not since some of the other scampaign I encounter are used to be good at first but looks bad when their camp ends and doesn't pay the correct compensation to their participants.

For detecting fraud project and announce it a scam you need to have solid basis not only for merely following your intuition. For you to know there is something wrong on the project in the first place, experience and knowledge on analyzing the paper and those who are part of it.

But if you know it is scam then you must inform everyone, for them to know and stop this project collecting money from investors for nothing.

It is impossible to find the scam ICO because already savedrioid how it has become exit scam, even though it seems very promising in the beginning. Sometimes it is very difficult to just which company will pay and which company will not. Even though the manager is good touch with them we have to face this situation.
